Suki put the kettle on, and please adopt me.

Super little Suki is only 3 years old. She can be shy initially like all cats can when they are getting to know you. She will hide at first but as soon as she trusts you she will be there to greet you.

Please consider this wee one, she is delightful and would make a great friend.

What a little Poppet

This wee little girl is less than a year old, and in need of a new mum or Dad

This would be her first real home of her own.

She is a little nervous initially and will need a little patience to settle. Once she gets to know you she is a little darling and loves a head and belly rub.

Chopper is now ready to move on! He came in as a stray with a mangled tail, which had to be amputated. He's never been nasty but does hiss when unsure, followed by a head bump! He's a really sweet boy who just needs the right person to fill him with confidence and give loads of love. He is fiv negative, neutered and microchipped. We estimate him to be around 4 years old. He could live with another friendly, confident cat, or cat friendly dog.

Please everyone flea treat your cats 😿

We wish we didn't need to share such sad news this evening, but if it raises awareness of just how dangerous untreated fleas can be, and that saves even 1 life, then we make no apologies for it. On Saturday, Taylor seemed to perk up, even trying to climb out of the pen she was in. Showing the fighting spirit that melted my heart from the minute I collected her and rushed her to the vets.
The benefit of the blood she received was showing but the next 24 hours were crucial as her body needed to generate it's own red blood cells. It seems that was too big a hill for such a little scrap.
I took her for a check over on Sunday afternoon with her Lighthouse vet but by Sunday night, she'd lost all interest in food and was extremely flat. I could now feel a blockage, so rushed her straight back to Lighthouse. She'd become severely compacted because in her weak state, her body was absorbing all the water she was fed and didn't have the strength to move stools along. She wouldn't have survived any treatment, was still very anaemic and now in obvious pain. The heartbreaking decision was made that we had to let her go.

We are so sorry we couldn't save you little one, we really did try everything we could.

Please, please don't ignore fleas or be embarrassed to ask for help to deal with them. This didn't need to happen but it is the reality of what does.

We’ve just had this male Cat brought into us, no microchip, found near Regent Road in Great Yarmouth.
He will shortly be transferred to The Veterinary Hospital in Gorleston so if you believe he is your Cat please call them on 01493 661833, proof of ownership will be required.
