Hiya everyone, as everyone had so much fun last year we have decided that, we are having a Ruby Doo Events Spooktacular Halloween Rave again this year for the kids on Monday 27th October (6pm till 8pm). We have got loads of things to keep the little ones entertained.

Please call us on 01922418709 or come in to book your tickets in advance to assure a place. Just a heads up, Ruby Doo have given us a tip for the kids that white or neon clothing will glow the best.

As our usual chef won't be on we will be be doing basket meals for the parents. This will include scampi, mini fish, burgers, hot dogs/ sausage, nuggets..... accompanied with sides. Please see the menu on the day. I have put a picture of it on here as well.

Hi everyone, so sorry it has took so long ro update everyone about our Chesfest on the 17th August. We all had a a great day and thank you all for your support. You guys all raised £1300 for the charity SUDEP which we were supporting. It is just amazing and we will be putting an official message with the certificate of proof once we have received it. A big sorry to everyone that had to wait as long as they did to get a drink and we appreciate your patience on the day. 😊

This message is for the raffle prizes that have not been claimed. Couls you please message us if this is you and we can arrange a time for you to come and pick up your prize, thank you.

We will be putting another message up next week with all the pics of the day (I might try and do a reel, see how that goes, lol).

Hi everyone, we are all excited for tomorrow for our ChesFest mini music festival for all the family and these are the two bouncy castles that we will have up on the day. Please follow the rules for the safety of all the children on the day. We want everyone to be safe and have a great day .

Unfortunately we will no longer be having the tarot card reader on the day. We are really sorry about this.

Hi everyone, we have got the music acts up for the weekend. We are starting of with our very own local band Revival, followed by the amazing SKA-WADDY (https://www.facebook.com/share/15FYj7Wj29/) and to finish the evening off we have the talented Aimee H (https://www.facebook.com/share/1C5qn5ANoZ/)

The kids, adults families are all going to be entertained.

Hi everyone, we are putting an updated poster on for ChesFest 2025 on Sunday 17th August. We have got some great stalls run by local families and we have added to entertain the kids alongside .

Another great addition is our Private Tarot reading with Kay Maloney - Claresentient medium, Quaballist and meditation practitioner, this is her facebook link (https://www.facebook.com/share/19ixvG5tLE/) from 2pm till 5pm. We are taking booking for a 5min to 7min slots per reading. If this is something you would like to book please contact us by either calling us on 01922418709 or sending a direct message and we will reply back to you with a booking time.

The charity will have some great prizes donated by us and we hope by local businesses as well. We hope everyone gives something on the day for this great charity that we are supporting.

There will be great music, entertainment and food for every one throughout the day.

Hi, our kitchen is going to be closed on the following days but the pub will be open as normal. On the days the kitchen is closed we are fine with our customers ordering food in from somewhere else to eat at the pub, as long as all drinks are purchased from our pub.

Hi everyone, we are going to be having our Easter kids party on the 20th April, which is on Easter Sunday. If the weather is decent we thought we would have a few stalls for local businesses to sell, promote their goods etc... (all being well that the weather is good). Hi everyone, we would like to share our great news with you all. We had our inspection visit last week from South Staffs Council and got awarded a 5 food rating once again. We are really proud of our rating and high standards. Well done to all the bar and kitchen staff for all your effort.
