Today has been emotional to say the least after my post this morning … I have been really truly blown away by the flood of lovely supportive messages and calls! And the unexpected amount of understanding of a s**t situation. I have really realized how blessed I have been to get to know so many of you all so well and call so many of you my friend (let’s face it some of you been with me nearly 10 years! Lol) … even more mind blowing almost every person I’ve spoken to today are more then happy and wanting to carry on supporting me!!
I honestly cannot tell you how Lucky and blessed I feel this evening ❤️ … anyways change isn’t always so bad right 🤷‍♀️ I’ll take the positives 👊🏻So Thank you!! 🫶🏻… and who knew people loved there dogs groomer so much! 😂 ###x

It is with a very heavy heart and sadness I write this post ..

As many of you will know we moved out of the area back in June and was due to open my new shop locally .. unfortunately legalities, illness, injuries and personal circumstances have set things back over and over, a great amount of money has been lost along the way and many of you have been left disappointed with cancelled appointments for one reason or another and I’ve often not been able to make your bookings or respond as I usually would due to not really knowing what’s happening or where I would be. This has been frustrating for you all and for me also! The stress of working flat out and being so busy for so long (which I know I’m lucky to of had) followed by the stress of the last few months has more then taken its toll.. so going forward I’ve made the difficult decision to close ‘Ann’s groom room’ after tomorrow (Friday 1st September) to try something new and focus on my own mental health, spend more time with my family, heal, travel and learn.

So many of you have given me unbelievable support over the years (especially when losing my mum) and for that I will be forever grateful. I will massively miss seeing you all for chats,laughs,and gossip and I will of course especially miss all my special furry friends (even the bitey scratchy ones 😂)

I’m no longer in stifford clays but if anyone is happy to travel a little I will still be grooming and teeth cleaning but by no means working as flat out as I have been.. please message me direct if you’d still like me to continue grooming your dog and I’ll get back to you asap with details.

Thank you for helping to make ‘Ann’s groom room’ such a massive success for the last 4 years it really is so appreciated!.. I will greatly miss you all!

Apologies to all those that have been affected by my crumbling painful shoulder recently .. I’ve finally just had another steroid injection today 🙌 (currently can’t move my arm or lift a cup of tea but should be ok by tomorrow when it kicks in) and am back in 3 weeks to have minor op which I’ll need to take 5 days off for after … that should see me through for a while until I can have my full op 🤦🏼‍♀️ .. thank you for your patience! ###
