t by 2 ft and 2 luxury 6ft by 2ft hutches. The hutches were specially hand made and designed just for Rabbit's Retreat! A house bunny play area for bunnies who live indoors and not in a hutch or cage! The house bunny area includes a complimentary hay ring each week. Rabbit's Retreat is designed with your pet in mind! I keep my boarding small and exclusive so I can give your rabbit, guinea pig or other small pet my full attention and care. When you go away on a relaxing holiday you want to know that your pet will be safe and having a good time too! Price includes daily feeding, grooming and love, plus clean and spacious facilities/enclosures for the duration of their visit. Please note:
- We require a copy of the vaccination certificates for VHD and Myxomatosis, also evidence of 6-month/yearly booster. It is advised that you use a worming treatment for your rabbit annually to prevent an internal parasite infestation.
- If any pet shows signs of disease or illness we reserve the right to refuse your pet for boarding.
- Whilst your rabbit is boarding with us please provide us with their usual dry food. Please bring with you enough food for their stay and treats and toys if you have any. Changes in diet can upset your bunnys tummy, this is why I ask you to bring food.
- Should your pet become ill whilst boarding with us, we will contact you immediately and with your consent, we will take them to our local vet (any vet charges will be payable upon collection).
- All pets are left entirely at the owner’s risk. You will be required to complete a booking form upon arrival to state you are happy to leave your rabbit in my care. This also helps me gather information so I can give your pet the 5* treatment he or she deserves. Accommodation:
Hutch, run, bedding, fresh vegetables and fruit, water bottle and bowl will be supplied plus any thing extra your pet may require! In line with RSPCA guidelines no guest may share runs or are mixed during their stay unless they are boarding together. Any animals who live together will not be seperated, I understand how important it is to keep companion animals together. They will stay in the same hutch/cage together. They will also play in the same run together during the day. Hutches are in a modern converted brick garage specially designed for indoor and outdoor rabbits and guinea pigs. The Retreat is extremely secure and is locked up at night from any kind of predators, so there is no need to worry about your pets safety! Exercise:
I have a safe and secure garden and have 5 secure runs with roofs which your bunny will use during the daytime providing the weather is good. I am also at home all day, so I watch any guests playing outside from the comfort of my living room and conservatory. If I leave my house, pets outside go back to bed. If the weather is bad Rabbit's Retreat has an indoor enclosure for your rabbit to play in safely, fully equipt with toys to keep them from getting bored! Health & Hygiene:
All hutches & runs are spot cleaned daily & disinfected between guests. You are welcome to visit the Retreat prior to boarding your pet.
