Today is our last day open for a little while!

While the village is quiet in the latter weeks of January we will be closed to give us some time to spend with our own dogs, welcome a new pup and have a good spring clean of the shop and website.

We look forward to welcoming you back in February with an exclusive launch, tasty new snacks, gorgeous gifts and nights that are getting longer (and hopefully a little warmer) too!

Make sure to pop an order in online before 4pm today to top up on your favourite treats and keep you going until reopening on Friday 30th Jan 🐾

As we ring in the New Year I’ll be spending mine the same way as I have for the past 6 years, curled up on the sofa with Ralph enjoying a movie.

2025 has been a mixed year, the highs of celebrating our 1st year open, lovely articles written on the shop, growing our independent business and meeting lots of gorgeous dogs along side the heartbreak of Ralph’s surgery, the recovery and treatments he had to have mid year.

Heading into 2026 Ralph is strong, the shop will see new and regular tails coming through the door, exclusive products, tasty treats and an exciting new addition to the pack 🐾

May we learn more from our dogs in 2026, living for the now, bringing joy, peace and happiness to those they meet and the simple pleasures of a walk.

We’ve been looking for another natural shampoo bar to replace the previous brand we stocked that has unfortunately decided to stop producing.

We wanted to find a natural shampoo bar that cleans and cleanses but also smells just as good too!

These natural, handmade and vegan shampoo bars are packed with a blend of amazing oils to nourish and cleanse your dog’s skin and fur leaving it feeling silky, soft and free from any build up. The sulphate-free blend will cleanse your dog’s fur without stripping it of its natural oils and created using sustainable ingredients free from any palm oil or RSPO.

Kind on the skin and kind to the environment!

When I was 11 we got our 1st Dachshund, Chesney, and since then I knew they were the only breed for me. Fast forward to 2019 when I was moving out Mum got me the best gift I will ever receive, my Ralphy!
I looked into what foods would be better for him, the nutritional value of supermarket brand treats had little to no meats, toys didn’t excite me and plain harnesses and leads didn’t suit my style. New brands started to appear with cute designs, single source protein snacks and cute collectible toys just for dogs but you could only buy it all online. That’s when I started to plan my own little shop, somewhere that could stock our favourite Instagram brands, find the best treats for our dogs to choose themselves and stock gifts for dog lovers just like me. In 2024 we opened Rose and Ralph, a little shop for dogs of ALL sizes!
