Discovery Grand Prix

We had a lovely round and I actually felt like I was in sync with him. Chacco felt really confident and covered the ground well. We just unfortunately tapped the final jump 😭.

Really pleased with him, this felt like our best round together todate. There’s always next year!

After a fantastic few days at ARENA UK Chaccos having some time off to sit back and chill!

105cm Grand Prix qualifier-
Another amazing clear! After an awful warm up (some lady decided she owned the jumps and no one was aloud to put them up and down) so we just about managed to pop two fences in the warm up but never the less nothing gets in our way!

An update on how it’s going at ARENA UK SHOW Centre

Saturday:
-95cm Grand Prix with a 7:00 start 🙈
Chacco jumped an incredible clear in the first round he saved my arse completely!

I was exhausted this morning after being up partying last night so my own fault but he was just amazing! (Early night tonight for sure!)

95cm Grand Prix jump off- Another incredible round from chacco and clear, we were just slow to get a frilly today 🥲 This being said he finished 11th in a big class! This being his first ever jump off I am so so proud of him.
I can’t express how amazing chacco has been this is only his second ever stay away show.

Bring on tommorow for the Discovery & 105cm Grand Prix

Ive been at ARENA UK SHOW Centre since Thursday! Hears how I’ve been getting on….

Thursday:
British novice- Such an amazing round to then clip the last fence due to me suddenly forgetting how to stride into a fence 😂
Discovery- Double clear! And again an amazing round

Placings are hard to get here as there is over 140 people in each class. Trying to keep chacco steady was the highest priority on Thursday!

Friday:
95cm- Double clear and a quick round to get 8th!
Discovery- unfortunately the first fence due to chacco concentrating on a warm up arena on the other side of the fence instead of the jumps in front of him! Never the less it was still and incredible round. Even with his pole he still placed 22nd!

I’m so proud of him, we have only competed out together twice before this big show after a break and our partnership is stronger then ever roll on to what looks to be an amazing weekend!

Saddle refit for Chacco today ahead of ALX. He’s a lot more even now

Nessy also had a refit. It was interesting to see how much she had changed after altering her shoeing style a little.
