Today was my last day of dog walks before I head off on maternity leave 🐾🤍

I honestly don’t even know where to begin. This little business has meant more to me than I can put into words, and that’s all because of you and your incredible dogs. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for trusting me with your precious pups, for welcoming me into your homes, and for allowing me to be part of your dogs’ lives.

Each and every dog I’ve walked has left their pawprint on my heart. I’ve learned their little quirks, their favourite sniffing spots, the way they get excited when the lead comes out or I arrive, the cheeky looks, the zoomies, the cuddles at the end of a walk. They aren’t “just clients” to me — they’ve been my daily joy, my therapy, my laughter on hard days, and such a huge part of my routine and my life.

I feel so incredibly grateful to have built such special bonds — not just with the dogs, but with all of you too. Your support, kindness, messages, flexibility, and encouragement have meant the world to me. Watching your dogs grow, gain confidence, make friends, and enjoy their adventures has been the biggest privilege - a privilege I can’t wait to get back.

This isn’t goodbye — it’s just a pause while I step into the next exciting chapter of becoming a mum of 3 - (5 if you include the dogs🫣) I’ll be soaking up every precious moment, but please know I fully intend to return. I’m just not setting a date yet while I adjust to our new routine. I promise I’ll keep you all updated.

Thank you for being part of this journey with me. Thank you for your trust. Thank you for your love. And most of all, thank you for sharing your amazing dogs with me. They really mean more to me than you will ever understand.

Give them the biggest cuddle from me — I’ll miss them more than they will ever know and I’m counting down the days until I see them again! 🐶💛

Well, today marks the start of what’s going to be a hard week for me. As many of my customers already know, due to certain circumstances I’ve had to bring my maternity leave forward, which means this week will be my last week of work for the time being. 💛

Sadly, that also means I’ve started my long list of goodbyes. I do fully plan on returning to work, but in terms of timescales I’m just taking things as they come, so I don’t have a confirmed return date just yet.

Today’s goodbyes were to Atlas & Tiko. They haven’t been with me for very long, but they’ve definitely found a special place in my heart. I’m so pleased to say they’ll now be walked by another local dog walker, who I know will take the very best care of them until I am back out and about.

Thank you all so much for your understanding and support during this time — it truly means the world. 🐾 - I am honestly dreading the next couple days of work 🙁😔💗
