Today on the 9th of November and the 11th of November we will be temporarily closing the shop at 11am for the 2 minuet silence

During these 2 minutes we are remembering those who have died while fighting in the First and Second World wars as well as honouring the sacrifices of our armed forces, past and present.

While The red poppy was introduced in 1921 and is a symbol of remembrance for humans that were lost during this time, The charity Animal Aid introduced a purple poppy in 2006 to also honour the service and sacrifice of animals during the war 🐾
