A tribute to our gorgeous girl Meg 🌈💔

Meg has been part of our lives for seven wonderful years, and in that time, she gave us more than we could ever have given her. She wasn’t just a patient—she was a personality, a presence, a little force of nature who made every visit brighter. 🥰

We’ve shared so many moments with her, the kind that stay with you long after they’ve passed. From chasing her around the garden as she proudly carried off her cavaletti poles like prized trophies, to rallying together like a full cheerleading squad just to coax her through a few steps on the underwater treadmill—Meg did everything in her own way, on her own terms, and always with character.

She had a voice too—one she wasn’t shy about using. Whether it was barking for treats, food, or simply to make sure she was heard, Meg knew exactly what she wanted and wasn’t afraid to ask for it. And somehow, she always made us smile while doing it.😊

Meg loved being in the car. You may have seen her around locally, in the back of a Mercedes with her head sticking out of the back window and the wind flapping around her ears.

It’s hard to say goodbye to a soul like hers. Meg wasn’t just part of our work—she was part of our days, our stories, and our hearts. We’ll remember her for her determination, her sass, her sweetness, and the joy she brought into the clinic.

Thank you, Meg, for every moment. You’ll be deeply missed, but never forgotten. 🌈💔

Our thoughts are with Julie, Andrew and their family who we know are absolutely devastated.

🌈 💔 🤍 Tessa 2.6.2011 – 14.3.2026 🤍💔🌈

This has possibly been one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make.

Life with our golden oldies is a real rollercoaster of emotions. The love they give us is immeasurable, but the goodbye is the price we eventually have to pay.💔

Today, our resident YCTC dog, Tessa, gained her wings peacefully at home — in her favourite spot on the sofa, scoffing chicken nuggets. 🪽

There’s a saying that has been on my mind a lot lately:

“A day too late and we both suffer. A day too early and only I suffer.”

It’s the quiet promise we make to them — to put their comfort before our own hearts. 💕

I’m so grateful to one of our amazing clients who dropped everything yesterday to come and do a photoshoot with her.

The waders are finally hung up for Christmas 🎄. We wanted to say a huge thank you to all of our wonderful owners who trust us with your dogs’ care and rehabilitation.

To all of our referring vets and specialist referral centres – thank you, as always, for your continued support and trust. 😊

We absolutely love our job. It so rewarding to see the progress each dog makes with us. 😊 It can also bring moments of real sadness. We have said goodbye to some really precious dogs recently 🌈and we are sending love and hugs to their owners facing their first Christmas without them😢

2025 has been a blast, and 2026… we’re ready for you! 💪 (After recovering from the food and drink coma from consuming all of lovely gifts we have received) 🥂 🍫

Amongst the laughter this week there have been a LOT of tears. 😢

Our Bestest Boy Ben has crossed the rainbow 🌈 bridge today.

Many of you will have commented on his nickname ‘Ben Laden’ 🫣 on our super board of hero’s. That was just one of his numerous nicknames (the others might get us banned from Facebook) 😝🤣

Bubs was the bestest boy, and LOVED coming for his hydro and physio sessions. His greatest love was food, food, and did we mention food?

We know his mum will really be struggling with his loss right now and send her huge hugs. 🥰

We will miss his lovely face and the stories of the antics each week. 😞💔
