**MISSING CAT**

We have had a all over black cat handed into the practise today, all fit and well. No microchip. Found on Catteshall Road, not to far from the river. If anyone is missing or knows of anyone who is missing a black cat please be in touch with the practise on 01483 421102.

‼️Cuteness Alert‼️

Meet Louie, a 7 year old Pomeranian rescue from China. How adorable is he 😍

Louie came into us for a Dental procedure as he needed serval extractions. Louie is now all recovered from his procedure.

Louie was a favourite of the team and even helped us out on Reception! What a good boy 🐾

Meet Pickle 🤍

He is a 6 month old Ragdoll kitten who was a very brave boy for his neutering procedure today. He stole the hearts of all our team with his cuteness especially our Head RVN 😍
What a gorgeous boy! Wishing him a great recovery 🐾

***LOST Tortoise in Godalming Area***

We have had an Hermanns tortoise handed into the practise which was found in Loseley Park a few days ago. If anyone has lost a Tortoise or knows any information please be in touch with the practise on 01483 421102 or email us at [email protected].

Our head vet Cathy undertook the abseil challenge off the Orbital sculpture at the Olympic Park in aid of Vetlife, a charity that supports the mental health and well-being of people working in the veterinary profession.

Dominique
Senior RVN Veterinary Nurse

Dominique is one of our Registered Veterinary Nurses with 10 years post qualification experience. She has worked mainly in charity practice, but has also worked 2 years in private practice prior to her joining with the Pet Doctors team in January 2023. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary nursing but has a particular interest in Anaesthesiology and has completed certificates in this area.

Dominique owns a fluffy black cat called Pedro – he is very handsome and he knows it! Her hobbies outside of work are playing drums, horse-riding, socialising and being out and about in nature!

Ceel Gould BVSc MRVCS
Veteinary Surgeon

Ceel graduated from Liverpool University in 2012 after a previous Zoology degree at Leeds. She has always focused on 100% small animal work, initially in Brighton and then in London. Ceel moved to Surrey in March 2023 and joined the Pet Doctors team. She enjoys being a GP and seeing all the different cases, especially getting to know the clients and patients.

In her spare time Ceel is a mum to her 2 children and cat, Couscous. She loves reading, running, dance and since moving to the countryside is getting to grips with her garden.

Lucy
Head Receptionist

Lucy joined the team in April 2022 as a Full Time Receptionist, since December 2022 has joined the Management team as the ‘Head Receptionist’ across both Godalming and Tongham branches. She enjoys working between both practices within the hub and building a strong relationship with clients.

Lucy has always loved dogs since boarding Guide Dog puppies while still in training. In her spare time she loves to spend time taking her trouble making Jack Russel, Fergie down the pub and seeing friends.

Simon
Our Student Veteinary Nurse

Simon started working here in January 2018. He has many pets at home including his German Sheppard, Lexi and Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Ruby and cat named Bailey. Simon came to us for a career change after working at Fitzpatrick Referrals as an auxiliary nurse. Simon is currently over half way through his student nursing training, where he studies practically at the practise and completes all his theory work at his days at college. The whole team enjoy working alongside Simon and seeing the great correspondence with clients over the many years of working at Godalming Pet Doctors

Lauren Scott RVN
Head Veterinary Nurse and Practise Manger

Lauren joined the Pet Doctors team in 2008 and became head nurse in 2017. She enjoys working between both practices within the hub and enjoys promoting excellent patient care whilst building strong relationships with clients. She has a keen interest in wound management, surgical nursing, and general consulting.

Whilst not working, she enjoys cooking and stormy walks in the elements with her German Shepherd, Fin. She is also honoured to have been enslaved by two beautiful Burmese cats, Ronald and Rae.

Chloe
Our full time Receptionist.

Chloe joined the team as a receptionist in January 2023 after working in a doggy day-care wanting to gain more experience in the veterinary industry.
Chloe loves animals and has 2 cockapoos and two cats, one of which was recently rescued after being brought into the practice as a stray.
In her spare time Chloe loves to spend time with friends and family.
Chloe has been a wonderful addition to the team and knows how to keep everyone laughing!

⭐️Pet of the Month⭐️

On the 10th of May 2023 we received a phone call of a found puppy hidden in the bushes on the side of a busy road.
We had her brought into our practice immediately, we quickly discovered by looking at her how neglected she had been and began treating her ASAP!
During this process, one of our lovely nurses at our sister branch in Tongham decided to take her on providing her 24 hour care in her own home. This included toilet training, administering medications, feeding and lots of play.
Almost one month on after a lot of treatment, treats and endless love and cuddles we have some potential foster parents lined up for her and couldn’t be happier and neither could she!

Catherine Scott Plummer BVetMed MRCVS
Our Head Veterinary Surgeon

Cathy qualified from the RVC in 2001 and initially worked in mixed practice for 2 years. She then focused on 100% small animal work. Cathy enjoys all aspects of first opinion work and getting to know her patients and owners. She has a special interest in ultrasound and hoping to improve her heart scanning skills alongside abdominal screening.

In her spare time Cathy spends time with her daughter Zoe and their dog and cat Rosie and Ruby. She loves the outdoors and enjoys camping and stand up paddle boarding. She also loves to read and paint.
