Said a heartbreaking goodbye to Jay today. He’s been with us for many, many years and he passed away on my lap this evening. Honestly love this rabbit so much. He was always so happy to se me and I miss his little face already.

Simba came in late last night with a swollen face and I thought he’d probably got stung by a wasp or bee as there was no swelling when he had his dinner. Went to sleep with him curled up with me as normal.

This morning, it hadn’t gone down so I showed Lauren with Simba in my (bare) arms and was just telling her about how he had a scratch on his cheek when she picked the scab off the scratch and puss started pouring out! 🤢

Luckily Lauren has the strongest stomach ever so cleaned it this morning and evening. Simba is well in himself so a case making sure it continues to get better or he’ll be off to the vets...

Not sure what he’s been up to! 🤭

We got Dogs Trust lad, Mitch in May 2017. He was scared of other dogs, traffic and people.

With the help of Tess, Mitch came out of his shell completely. He is still sensitive but he's super cuddly and loves agility!

Ash came to us in January from the Dogs Trust.

Ash had been through far too much in her very short life before getting to safety with the Dogs Trust.

We have never come across a dog as scared as Ash is of people. When she first arrived, we couldn't go anywhere near her. No one could come in without her barking every time they moved.

Ash hasn't been hit or looked at wrong in over a year since she arrived with the Dogs Trust and she is still suffering the effects of the abuse she suffered previously.

Ash trusts us a little bit more everyday but if there is ever a reminder to never lay a hand on an animal, it's Ash. So grateful this little baby is safe with us and will be for the rest of her life.

As most people know, I lost my baby girl, Shiloe, this summer and haven’t wanted another dog in the months since. Then I saw Ashy bear and there was something about her that I loved instantly. It could be that she’s not dissimilar looking from when Shiloe was younger but I fell instantly in love. Even when we met her and she was too scared to come near us!

Thanks to the amazing work of Dogs Trust Evesham (particularly Georgie who helped us adopt Mitch and happened to be fostering Ashy), we now have Ash here with us! We are so grateful to Georgia for being so epic and lovely. Ash is possibly the biggest project dog that we’ve ever had but we are so happy she’s with us ❤️
