Can anyone help with a foster or forever home for this handsome boy? ๐พ
A bio of our Taylor, looking for an URGENT long term foster or forever home
Age: 8 years
Size: smaller than he looks! 20kg, staffy size
Breed: English Bull Terrier x (very similar in temperament)
Good with other dogs: Really loves a lot of dogs! Can take a disliking to some, usually other bull breeds, needs sensible intros.
Good with cats: Has never lived with cats
Good with children: Loves children! Has lived with them before, however they would need to be very savvy kids due to his bull temperament (stubborn!)
Taylor has been searching for his forever home for the best part of 2 years. I cannot stress enough how much EVERYONE loves him when they meet him! He was a firm favourite around the kennels, and no one can understand why he is still with us, however no one takes him home ๐
Taylor is a very loving boy. He thinks heโs a lap dog and likes being close to you: he is a sensitive boy who need a kind owner who can reassure him when heโs anxious, his anxiety comes out in whimpering mostly
Taylor is a good walker and enjoys a lot of exercise. He is muzzle trained and this can be used in areas where there are a lot of offlead dogs which could upset him
Taylor enjoys training and has worked with a couple of trainers who find him enjoyable to work with and very trainable! He is food motivated and gives the best puppy dog eyes for treats
Taylor loves being in a home and loves the sofa, he would struggle in a home that doesnโt allow him on the sofa! He likes to cuddle up to you
Taylor is strong willed like his breed is, if he gets hold of a food packet for instance, there is no wrestling it off of him ๐ English bull terrier owners will be smiling at this Iโm sure!
We canโt stress enough what a nice boy this lad is, he just needs the right home that wants a best mate.
As a rescue we are prepared to contribute ongoing costs for Taylor, including seeing a trainer if they felt it was needed - to get the most support from us ideally they would need to be local, however we will consider homes further afield if it was perfect for Taylor
This boy doesnโt deserve to come back to kennels. It could totally destroy him as it has done before
