What an unforgettable experience the Paris Paralympics has been! Ever since attending London 2012 as a spectator, competing at the Paralympics has been a dream!
I’m honored to have represented Canada as part of the para-equestrian team with Jody and Bert. Huge thank you to the Blakiston Houston Estate for the generous opportunity to ride Happy Feet 3 and to the incredible team who made it all possible.
A special thanks for all the support from Team Canada.
Thank you to our Team Coach, Clive Milkins, for putting up with me; Jo Alderton for grooming and helping at the Games; and Lucinda, whose dedication simply made everything a reality. And, of course, thank you to my family, who have constantly been running around after me and supporting me.
Getting to the Paralympics truly took a village—from the help at RDA, to coaches, helpers, grooms, physios, supporters, friends, and family—the support I received was incredible. None of this would have been possible without all the help, both at home and at the actual Games. Thank you!
