‘Twas the night before the NAF Five Star Hartpury Showjumping Spectacular, and all through the house, stabled horses were stirring and probably a mouse.
The courses were built in the arenas with care.
In hope that our judges would soon be there.
The horses were nestled all snug in their beds.
While riders walked distances, right now in their heads.
The show will pass quickly, they’re always too brief!
But our events will return, with the nod of our Chief.
From shorties to 1.40s, and an area trial.
A gazillion 1.20s might take a while!
We’ll see you tomorrow, compete, meet and laugh.
