Teddy – 6-month-old Cockapoo puppy being fostered in Gloucestershire in an adult family home with other dogs.

Teddy came into our care due to his owner's health. He has been loved all his life, making this an incredibly difficult and heartbreaking decision for his family.

Unlike many of the dogs that come into our care, Teddy is very much a blank canvas. He has never known anything bad, has been well socialised with both people and other dogs, and is simply a lovely young dog to have around.

He has settled into foster care with three other dogs without any issues. He enjoys their company, has been happily walking off lead, and has taken all the recent changes in his stride. Teddy sleeps quietly in his crate at night and has adapted to his foster home with ease.

Teddy is a bright, intelligent little dog who enjoys being with other dogs, so we feel he would benefit from living with a friendly canine companion in his new home.

As with any young dog, Teddy will need continued training and guidance as he grows, but he is eager to learn and loves being involved. We are looking for a home that wants a dog to be part of an active lifestyle, not one where he will simply be walked around the block and spend the rest of the day on the sofa.

He would thrive with owners who enjoy getting out and about and would like a companion for activities such as hiking, scent work, training classes or agility.

He has so much potential and deserves a home that will enjoy developing that potential with him.

We understand that Teddy is likely to be very popular. As with all our dogs, we are looking for the home that best matches his needs rather than simply the first application.

Preference will be given to applicants who have experience of rescue dogs and understand the commitment involved in helping a young dog reach his full potential.

Teddy has been vaccinated, chipped, flea/wormed and Health Checked with no issues too young to be neutered you will have to do this as part of the adoption agreement. We will not home him with entire dogs.
