Bonfire night 🎆 It can be a stressful time for some of our Canine Companions. Here are some top tips to keep your dog safe &
as calm as possible ...

🥰 Safe Place : Set up a cosy den or quiet room with their favourite toys, blankets & keep curtains closed.

🎶 Noise Distraction : Play calming music or turn on the TV to help drown out the loud bangs & sudden noise.

🧠 Mental Stimulation : Scent games are a great way to keep your dog's mind focused & tire them out.

🦮 Planning be Prepared : Take your dog for a walk before dark excerise can help them feel relaxed & content for the night.

💜 Therapeutic : Herbal calming tablets & drops which can be purchased at local pet shops Voda-Bone Pet Supplies / Jollyes Glenrothes - The Pet People.

🏠 Homes : Make sure windows, doors & gardens are secure so dog's can't escape.

⚠️ Safety : Ensure dog's are wearing an ID tag & their microchips are up to date with the correct details. Keep your dog on lead after dark. Any dog can easily be spooked & suddenly bolt out of fear.

Let's make sure our Canine Companions enjoy a peaceful & stress-free night.
