🐶🌊 Cockapoo Owners — Does Sea Water Cause More Knots? 🌊🐶

Short answer… YES 😅

Salt water can make your cockapoo’s coat knot up much faster. It dries out the hair and makes it slightly stiff, so it tangles and clumps together way easier — especially with those curly coats.

👀 Add in sand + wind + running around… and you’ve got the perfect recipe for mats!

💡 Beach day tips:
✔️ Rinse your dog with fresh water after the sea
✔️ Brush once the coat is dry (or lightly damp with detangler)
✔️ Don’t leave salt sitting in the coat
✔️ Pay extra attention to harness areas — salt + friction = knots fast
✔️ ✂️ If your dog swims in the sea regularly, reduce grooming to every 4–5 weeks instead of 6

❤️ So if your cockapoo gets extra knotty after the beach… it’s not just you!
