The premises are registered with the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain and the Animal Medicines Regulatory Authority, allowing animal medicines (including Horse, Dog & Cat Wormers) to be supplied. On site milling also means freshly milled products like rolled oats are available to customers. For country enthusiasts, Alexanders are the number one choice for feed, equipment and associated supplies.

The river above the weir

The photo is a view looking up river from the top of the weir this evening. The river is low but in truth not as low as in some previous summers. While much of the country has suffered drought conditions, we have been fortunate and had periodic rain throughout the spring and summer. At this time of year the river banks are heavy with vegetation which gives a slightly unkempt but natural appearance. Come the winter that vegetation dies back and the higher faster running water scours out the river and tidies up the banks.
