The Hyndland Street Veterinary Surgery has been part of the West End of Glasgow community for over 25 years providing care for animals and advice for owners. Visit our fully equipped modern, air conditioned surgery, which allows us to carry surgical and dental procedures on the premises. We also carry out x-rays and have a fully equipped in-house laboratory which allows us to provide prompt diagnosis and treatment of your animal.

ITV will be filming in the area on Monday 1st September, with filming expected to last all day until around 7pm. We have been assured this shouldn't affect the running of the surgery, they are filming at the corner of White Street and Hyndland Street but some parking may be affected near the surgery.
Please allow extra time to arrive for your appointment to be able to park as some of the usual parking spots around Chancellor street will be used by the film crew for their vehicles. They have no intention to close any roads but they may ask pedestrians to pause/divert for a few minutes while their cameras are rolling. We have expressed concern about this affecting our business and busy diary but they have assured us we should not be affected. Just heads up for any clients coming by on Monday and also that we do expect parking to be more limited than normal. 📽🎬

We have noticed lately an increased volume of people arriving after their scheduled appointment time has started.

We are a small busy practice who work back-to-back with appointments, and seeing someone late can impact the rest of the day/ have other clients to wait longer to be seen.

Please be mindful of this, and that if you arrive too late for us to properly assess your pet or past your appointment time, we may have to reschedule you to another time.
