Help2Rehome Scotland

Help2Rehome Scotland www.Help2Rehome.com Rescuing un-wanted abandoned and injured pets and finding them better homes. We vet all new owners homes.

Helping the general public re-home their pets through no fault of their own, whether that be moving home, starting work or having a family, we can help you re-home your pets. In the last 5 years our volunteers have re-homed over 250 animals all over Scotland. Our volunteers are based all around Scotland, they help find missing, stolen and lost pets, tracking them down through appeals and informati

on from the public. We fight animal cruelty in Scotland, we investigate animal crimes and acts to see if we can bring any evidence to secure any convictions by the police or any other reliable bodies in Scotland to protect animals. We fundraise to help struggling animal charities and organisations helping animals. We will offer rewards for information leading to convictions of people being cruel to animals. Help2Rehome Scotland is NOT a charity. It's an organisation of animal lovers. For more information, check out our website or get in touch with us.

The lovely Cody is still available - can you please share to help him on his way,

Cody is a beautiful and affectionate 18 month old male Border Collie.
He is seeking a new home preferably with someone who has experience with the breed.
He is chipped and healthy with no medical issues.
He is fearful of visitors to begin with and will bark, after a careful introduction (lots of sniffing) he is usually very friendly. He is protective of home and family and will react to anyone directly approaching who is unknown to him, so Cody is used to wearing a muzzle as a precaution on public transport and on a busy high street.
Cody eats Kibble and can be left alone for up to 4 hours, he is also crate trained.
He is used to going out with a dog walker with a group of dogs and is fine. There is occasion where there may be a dog he doesn’t get on with, however it’s rare - usually if the dog appears as a threat due to size or behaviour.
Cody has no experience with cats or small children. He would be best in a home with no kids as he hasn’t lived with them or had any interaction.
He is also registered at the vets and likes to play with toys, balls and frisbee. He’s lots of fun, smart and really enjoys learning new things.

Cody loves a chew.

Can you please take a moment to share Kova’s appeal, he’s had a few now and no luck finding a new home. šŸ™šŸ¼

Kova is a friendly 3 year old male Pocket Bully, he is available and looking for a new home due to a sudden change in his owners life.
Kova gets on well with other dogs and has been brought up around children. He isn't keen on cats.
Kova has a heart murmur - this doesn't affect him. He is not on any medication as not required - as stated by the vet.
He eats a diet of raw food and can be left on his own without any issues.
Kova isn't keen on the car to begin with but will settle after time. He likes to sleep on his owners bed at night - he does have his own bed but doesn't use it.
He loves treats and is also registered with the vets. Kova is also fully house trained.

For more information or to offer Kova a new home please email [email protected]

ā€œDear Help2Rehome,

I am reaching out to ask for your kind help in spreading the word about our much-loved dog, Buddy, who has been missing from Auchtertool, Fife, since 6th June 2025.

Buddy is microchipped, and has been reported missing to all the relevant authorities. Despite every effort, we are still searching, and we would be so grateful if you could:

• Share the attached poster with your colleagues, friends, and family.
• Keep an eye out for anyone who may suddenly have a dog resembling Buddy.
• Visit and share his dedicated page, Buddy Missing Auchtertool, so the appeal can reach as many people across the UK as possible.

Our hope is that if someone has Buddy, they may see how truly loved and deeply missed he is, and find it in their heart to return him home.

If you notice anything that seems unusual or suspicious, please do let us know right away. No matter how small it may seem, we are always happy to check and rule things out.

We truly appreciate the time and care you are giving in helping us. Every share and every set of eyes looking out for Buddy brings us closer to bringing him home.

With heartfelt thanks,

Karen & Scott

Some lovely feedback, but also to thank our followers for all the shares and helping us to help match pets to their new home, šŸ™šŸ¼

ā€œI’m really pleased with how quickly and efficiently you have been able to help us find a new home for Oscar. Rehoming him was a heartbreaking decision for us as a family. We had reached out to other charity’s for help rehoming him, many said they were unable to help due to capacity issues. We also had several adoptions fall through around the home check stage using another rehoming charity, so we were getting increasingly worried we would not be able to find a good home for him.
Help 2 Rehome Scotland have been fantastic - you were super speedy in getting back to us after we first reached out, and also very fast in listing him on your site for adoption. We were delighted that you were able to match us up with a brilliant new home for Oscar. Kate has been sending us lots of lovely updates to let us know how Oscar has been settling in, this has brought us a lot of peace to an otherwise difficult situation. We will always be so grateful to Help 2 Rehome for your part in Oscar’s journeyā€.

If you need help please email [email protected]

ā€œOlder dogs are over-lookedā€ 😢

While that might be true,

We’re so happy to say that 11 years young Zora has found her new home in Broughty Ferry, Dundee.

Thanks to our Dundee home checker Niki (who rehomed Panda from us last year) for completing this check, without the help of our network of staff, volunteers, helpers, drivers, co-ordinators and rehoming officers, we wouldn’t be in a position to help as many pets as we do, including those who just need a retirement home like Zora,

Her new owner Stuart said:

ā€œHi Just an update on Zora, she has settled in really well, hard to believe it's been 4 weeks already,
Her personality is shining through now and has quickly become part of our family.
I can't thank you guys enough for the work you do in rehoming pets.
We had no intention of getting another dog after losing our Halle back in March but your promotion regarding Zora melted our hearts and we knew we had to have her.
If anything hopefully it will encourage other people to give older dogs a chance as they are often left behind. As promised here are a few photos or her.
Thanks again and keep up the good work.
Stuart and Kirsteenā€.

We are forever grateful to Stuart and Kirsteen! We hope you have many happy years with Zora.

Happy new home Zora.
