I’m finally back & ready to kick start the weekend with plenty of lessons booked ahead! 🤩

Unfortunately there has been a change to services as I’ve decided to step down from any backing/breaking services and will only be taking on schooling with horses that have already started their education in the school. This hasn’t been an easy decision but after a few near misses over the last few months with a few small incidents, I have to put my wee boy first and ensure mum ‘tries’ to stay in one piece! 😆

On a happier note, I have got a new family member; Mr Bentley. He’s a beautiful 16.3 Belgian warmblood and has a real passion for showjumping with plenty of personality! 🥰 I’ll pop a few pictures below…

I had a great mix today from flatwork, poles and jumping- practicing for next week’s show at Woodend Riding Centre.

Woodend has loads of shows and clinics coming up these next few months. Have a look at their page to see what you can enter in, horses from other yards are always welcome and remember school horses are available to hire! Kick off 2025 with your first show or your return to competing. 🐎

📸 Special mention to Lucie and Zorro today, they done a great deal of their lesson in walk & trot stirrupless! Going back to basics and really encouraging Lucie to engage her seat and find her balance in the saddle. Hope your legs aren’t too tender tomorrow! 😆

I was out and about yesterday doing viewings for a client buying their next horse. Im always happy to attend with and without clients when doing viewings. I have training multiple times per week just now for my stage 3 (online and face to face), so my availability over these next few weeks will be reduced to over a few days per week. I have exams running throughout the next few months so if you’re looking for yard cover for a certain week or few weeks, please get in touch now so I can make sure to get you in the diary.

Sunday was busy with lots of flatwork & polework! I also had the pleasure of taking out a hack on Mr Django. He’s definitely a favourite of mine. 🥰

Today was… rather exciting! 😆 Lots of youngsters, some new faces and some regulars. Friday must be the day of spicy baby horses, I wouldn’t change them though!🤣

This is next weeks availability- I’m East side of Glasgow for majority of the week and West one day. If you’re a little out the way of these areas, just get in touch & we can arrange to pop you in.

I have some availability left on Thursday & Friday this week! I’m out in a mix of areas Thursday so happy to try and tie a few more in and I’m out in Airdrie & Coatbridge areas on Friday afternoon.
