Not strictly Centre for Advanced Textiles business, but as part of my Diploma in CBT, I am delivering three group work sessions to help staff cope with the difficulties we encounter when dealing with change. They are being delivered through HR, and if you use the QR code it should link to your personal iTrent account. The tab for 'Learning' should be listed, then choose 'courses' and select the one describing the sessions. If you struggle to book Eilidh Mckay in HR has asked you to contact her via email. You can also get in touch with me. It would be great to see you there. Everything discussed at the session will remain strictly confidential.

Turning Pink!! Take a moment to look at this wonderful collaboration between The National Trust for Scotland, Helen Ruth Scarves and Craigievar Castle https://helenruth.co.uk/the-pink-castle-collection/
We've been keeping schtum about it along with Helen and now we're delighted to say we've been part of the production process in creating Helen's scarves, neckerchiefs and art panels. They can be purchased here, https://www.nts.org.uk/shop/pink-castle . Well done Helen, your designs are gorgeous and tell the story beautifully as always.

Helen Ruth is a luxury accessories label specialising in digitally printed silk and wool scarves, printed and hand-finished in Scotland.

We were delighted to be part of Fraser Taylor's fabulous exhibition, Instant Whip: The Textiles and Papers of Fraser Taylor 1977–87 Revisited. During the guided tour and talk with Fraser and the exhibition curators visitors enjoyed hearing about his years at GSA, the Royal College of Art and then his early working years as part of the pioneering creative studio, The Cloth. The exhibition has come to an end, however you can read more about it here, https://gsaexhibitions.co.uk/exhibition/instant-whip-the-textiles-and-papers-of-fraser-taylor-1977-87-revisited/
We helped with printing the long black and white blinds that can be seen in the background (behind Fraser on the main image).

Year 4 Textile Design students proudly present ‘Work In Progress 2024’, and exhibition showcasing a selection of work from final year students across four specialisms. A display of drawings, colour work, and technical and material exploration in embroidery, knit, print and weave shows an insight into the variety of work in our final graduate collections.
