CATFLAP

CATFLAP Catflap is a Scottish charity (SC026114) dedicated to rescuing and rehoming cats and kittens around the Glasgow area. We are based in Bearsden.

CATFLAP is a small Glasgow-based charity, staffed entirely by volunteers. We have a small rescue shelter in Bearsden and an increasing number of feline fosterers around the area, but never have enough spaces for all the cats we are asked to take in. We are open by arrangement only since the shelter is at a private home. Please do not just turn up at the door! Please note that we are unable to offer boarding for cats, but can often recommend a boarding cattery in your area.

I completely forgot to take photos at the Highland
Games yesterday, but our setup looked much like this. Thank you to Helen, Sharon and Jen for manning (womanning?) the stall, Morag and Lottie the dog for trying to (Lottie was too excited!), and Graeme and Luke for transport, heavy lifting, and gazebo building skills. And to the commercial stall that Helen borrowed ropes from - if we hadn't tied the gazebo to the fence we'd have taken off!
Despite the strong winds and occasional rains, there were some good crowds. We took over £350, mostly from the Tombola but also some new goods sales, so thanks also to everyone who donated items for both of those.
