🍁🍂 Autumn Pet Toxins: Horse Chestnuts (conkers) 🍂🍁
The toxic ingredient in conkers is also found in the leaves and bark of the tree, so keep an eye out to make sure your pet doesn't eat these either. Conkers are also a choking hazard, and can potentially cause bowel obstructions if swallowed whole, which may require emergency surgery. Signs to look for in your pet include vomiting and diarrhoea, excessive drooling, excessive thirst or reduced appetite. In severe cases, ingestion can cause muscle tremors or seizures.

Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day is observed annually on August 28th. It's a heartfelt day dedicated to honoring and remembering beloved pets who have passed away. For the pet owners among us, it offers a special moment to reflect on the unconditional love, joy and companionship our furry friends brought into our lives. While the day may stir feelings of sadness, its true purpose is to celebrate the lives of these cherished animals: reminiscing the happy memories, silly habits and unique bonds that made them a part of the family.
Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day encourages us to keep their spirit alive in our hearts forever. 🐶❤🐱

Vaccines do more than just protect — they supercharge your pet’s immune system, shielding them from potentially life-threatening infectious diseases. Plus, every vaccination appointment includes a thorough health check from nose to tail — giving you peace of mind that your pet is happy, healthy, and thriving.
If it’s been over a year since their last jab, good news — it’s not too late. You can still book their booster without having to restart the course. But if they’re more than 3 months overdue, they’ll need to begin a
full vaccination course again. Don’t worry — we’ve got you covered. Join Our Vaccine Catch-Up Campaign!
We’ll make it easier (and more affordable) to get your pet protected. Pay for the first overdue vaccine, and we’ll give you the second one free. Let’s keep your furry friend safe, healthy, and ready for all of life’s adventures — book today!
Call us on 0141 427 0848 and our reception team will advise you of the next available appointment and answer any questions you may have.
