Our last day was filled with lots of tears, funny memories & more importantly love.

It is with a heavy heart that we would like to let our valued customers know that after 30 years the time has come to close the doors at Colbeg Cattery.

Our last day will be Sunday 8th October 2023.

It hasn’t been an easy decision; this wonderful place has been our way of life for a very long time, but it feels like the right time to say goodbye and look ahead to future opportunities.

Our biggest thank you goes to you, our customers, who have supported & trusted us with your much loved pets. We wouldn’t have had a business without you. We will miss all the cats & customers. It’s been such a pleasure to care for your cats whilst you have gone on holiday over the years.

We have a few more weeks left so please do pop in and see us before we close.

*Daily Rate Price increase to £13 per night from 1st May 2023*

With all the recent price increases (electricity, gas, insurance, cat food, litter, etc) we are having to add a wee £1 to our daily rate. We do not want to make any compromises on your cat’s spa break at Colbeg.

⭐️ We use only branded cat foods & litter.
⭐️ We have gas central heating to keep our guests cosy.
⭐️ We do not charge you for the day your cat is going home.
⭐️ The television is on all day to provide familiar sights & sounds to help the cats feel at home.

*Note - Bathrobes & cucumber slices are optional….. 😉

Sadly one of our old Minature Shetlands passed away yesterday. Always full of cuddles & mischief we will miss Daniel beyond measure. 😔💗

Jack seems to be coping well with the loss of his brother. The donkeys are keeping him company. 🥰

Our neighbours have a fundraising page to raise money for the boys & their families from Ukraine that they hosted here in Scotland.

They are in daily contact with Vania and Kyryl's mum. They are very scared at this time of uncertainty.

You may have seen their village of 'Borodianka' on the news. It has been on most days and has been so badly attacked, many say they will never be able to return to their homes. 💔

They are so grateful for the help and support they are giving them. They are hoping to raise as much as they can to help them in the coming weeks, months and years to rebuild their lives. ❤
