So as some of you may know, I’ve had some news recently which I’ve been keeping pretty quiet but want to share it with you all now, on May the 4th, 2024 I’ll be welcoming a new addition to the Mutz ‘N’ Manners pack. May the 4th be with you lil one, can’t wait to meet you 🥹👶🐶 (lil one knows I’m a Star Wars fan 😆😆)

🐶Environmental stimulus🐶

Todays topic has a lot more meaning that you would expect. Do you take your dog to the same park, let them interact with the same dogs, take them the same routes round the park on a daily basis? Some people who do this may notice that their pup struggles to control their emotions and adapt to new environments, such as when they go on holiday, vet trips or visit a family members house. It’s hugely beneficial for a dogs adaptability to be introduced to new stimulus and new environments, such as taking them somewhere new, letting them see different animals/people. This will increase the balance of your dog and eventually enable you to be able to take them to a huge variety of places and have a calm and balanced pup. Many people only do this in puppy stages as it’s easier to manage a pup than a adolescent/older dog. For a dog to learn to control their emotions in these environments exposure is the first stage. So next time you’re planning on walking your pup, take them somewhere new! Let them smell new smells and see new things, they will thank you for it 😊🐶

Meet Mouse 🐶

Absolutely fell in love with this girl today 😊😭 she is an absolutely incredible 7 month old Belgian Malinois. She is the most loving and intelligent pup 🐶 Looking forward to working with her and seeing her grow in confidence and to see her blossom in her training (which she’s gonna smash) keep an eye out for more updates on this beautiful girl 🙂🐶
