COMMONWEALTH GAMES

Scotstoun Stadium is hosting some of the Commonwealth Games over the summer and it is predicted that Scotstoun will get very busy at times over July and August.

Luckily I am at the opposite end of Danes Drive to the stadium but, (if the rugby is anything to go by), may still be affected by the busier traffic and parking problems.

Depending on which direction you are coming from, you may find some road closures or diversions so please check the route before dropping or collecting your pets.

I have attached all the information I have been able to gather but its always possible this may change nearer the time so please check this yourself before setting off.

Availability Update 15/06/2026

☀️ Just one or two spaces remaining for Mid/End July.

🍁 September weekend: Good availability for smaller pets. Only one space left for rabbits/4+ guinea pig herds

🎃 October week: Max 4 spaces available for caged pets (rats, hamsters etc) or 1-3 guinea pigs. Full for rabbits and 4+ guinea pig herds.

🎄Christmas: Some availability

Additionally, I have availability between the main school holidays if you're planning on taking a trip in the quieter periods.

I have an original Bucatstate small animal cage for sale in black.
It is in used condition (obviously). There are quite a few scratches on the perspex, however this is aesthetic and does not affect the use of the cage.
Comes with wheels (purchased as an extra). Cage has a front and top opening and the top comes off completely (great for cleaning). Would need to be collected from me in Scotstoun, G14 and you'll need a car as these cages don't flatpack down.
Cage is 100cm x 50cm x 52.5cm. These measurements dont include the wheels.
