Today was my first day working at Gedney Road Groomers. Here are the pooches I met and groomed today, and no you aren’t seeing double 🤣 Daisy and Barney are the spitting image of eachother and so are Millie and Milo!

I’ve had such a lovely first day with some really lovely girls, looking forward to tomorrow where I’m back for a couple of dogs and then I have two of my old clients from Kent coming to visit for a groom! ❤️

The end of an era arrives tomorrow.

It will be my last day grooming in Kent. I have a mix of emotions right now, I’m excited for my next chapter and all of the new dogs I get to know and love, but I am mourning what I have right now. Everyone who has trusted me with their dogs.

The generosity of cards, flowers, bottles, chocolates, home gifts and so many personalised gifts has honestly gobsmacked me. I am so so lucky to have had each and every one of you in my life.

I will miss not only your dogs so much but you humans too! You’re the ones who chose me, trusted me and believed in me and I cannot thank you more.

Normally I keep my business and personal life separate, but hey! After tomorrow you will no longer be my customers, you are my friends, so for anyone who would like to keep up to date with me and on my life you’re welcome to add me as a friend on Facebook!

Today was a very emotional goodbye to Benson who I have been grooming before I even opened McFluffys! A decade… a whole decade. I knew today was going to be full of tears but as soon as his mum walked into the shop we both burst into tears 😭

1st Place at Mastergroom Yesterday with my girl Luxury. Lux is the mum of our beautiful puppies she had not even 6 months ago and look how well she has snapped back 😍

This was my first grooming competition other than Crufts for 11 months! I took a huge break after my operation and it’s done me the world of good!

Myself and Luxury are preparing for the World Championships which will be held in Belgium in September! 😁🥰

After 9 years, recommend a friend is coming back! All new clients who book in with myself in my new location in PE12 from August and recommend me to a friend who books in with me will receive £5 off per dog booked in with me on their next visit, not only this but your friend will also recieve £5 off!

This is what it’s all about 🥹

From being turned away at the groomers, to being a normal dog at the groomers, hard work, patience and time has gone into getting Maddie where she is today with her grooming. Enough that another groomer groomed her today in the shop. Proud moment and also full of tears as we had to say good bye.

I’ll never forget you Maddie moo, my special Bulldog. Thank you Maddie and Beckie for my beautiful leaving present, I’ll cherish it forever ❤️

Today was an emotional day 😭❤

My Auntie Georgia is moving away and today we said goodbye. This amazing women has been my Groomer for over 3 years, and has worked so hard with me to make it a positive, fun and calm experience 🥰

When other groomers said no, Auntie Georgia said let's try!, and from starting off as being the only dog in the salon, wearing my muzzle all the time, and let's be honest being an absolute cow when I didn't want to do something or sometimes anything. To slowing being able to go in with other dogs, other groomers, taking my muzzle off at times, being less cow, playing and letting the other groomers brush me or clean my ears. Auntie Georgia did that!
Now I know exactly where I'm going when Mum pulls into the road, I get excited to see the salon, see the girls and to see Auntie Georgia. I come out calm, happy and looking and smelling beautiful, because I've had fusses, lots of treats and been told I'm a good girl about a million times ☺❤

We've had over three years of consistency, perseverance, routine, bonding and just pure love from one of the most amazing women and talented groomers we could of asked for 💖

Auntie Georgia has worked so hard with me and mum, and we will forever be greatful. Mum always says there's no such thing as a bad dog, they just need to find the right people. And we found Auntie Georgia, McFluffy's Dog Grooming Multi Award Winning Dog Groomer 😘

You are and always will be, one of my Original and Favourite Auntie's!. Love you always, kisses, grunts and bum wiggles 💋 Maddie-Moo #########xx

My old girl Dora really isn’t going too well, as we all know our dogs come first so if she needs me I will have to be there.

Just a prewarning for anyone with appointments this week they may have to be rescheduled last minute, I know you all understand.
