Hi, I’m Dave – in my 60s now, “I set up Mutleys almost six years ago with the mission to raise the standard of dog walking in the area, offering a personalized, VIP experience that stands out while r

especting all the wonderful dog walkers around us. With almost 30,000 dogs walked as of January 2025 i am now often referred to as "Uncle Dave." which I love and love the fact its more like a family reunion than just a walk! Built on trust, reliability, and a passion for creating lifelong friendships with dogs of all shapes, sizes, ages, and abilities, we go the extra mile to ensure every dog gets the star treatment they deserve. "I've been lucky to have dogs all my life, starting with a Beagle, then Labradors, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, and more recently, Meg, our beloved Labradoodle. Meg passed away in December 2024 at 10 years old after battling cancer and ligament issues for the last few years of her life. We miss her dearly and daily but i also feel incredibly fortunate to have my doggie friends, who have been a great comfort in helping me come to terms with her loss." Having had the immense level of love, support and understanding during this painful time from all the dogs and owners is quite humbling for me and shows you understand me as a person and how much i care. Of course not every penny fits the slot unfortunatly as is life and have had to prioritized a safe, fun environment for all dogs and myself , which is why I introduced a zero-aggression policy since late 2024. This ensures that every dog, and myself, stays safe and happy during our adventures together. After all I chose this path to have a better work/ life balance that I enjoy and be a fun enviroment for everybody. Which reminds me to make a note to myself - * follow your gut feeling and say no, it becomes impossible to help everybody all the time *

About four years ago, I decided to find a purpose-built, secure field for Mutleys, after seeing posts about lost dogs and confrontations in public parks. I wanted to create a positive, responsible space where dogs could play freely, and owners could feel assured their pets are safe. Think of it as a day at the spa… but with more running and less relaxing! We understand that dogs need mental stimulation just as much as exercise, so every walk is designed to engage your dog both physically and mentally. Whether it’s sniffing out new smells, making furry friends, or running like there’s no tomorrow, we ensure every dog has a paws-itively great time! With our “less is more” philosophy, fewer dogs means more quality time and stronger bonds. We keep it personal so every dog feels special and gets the attention they deserve. Rain or shine, we’re out there making tails wag with top-tier service at a great value. I also decided to make sure my transportation was fit for purpose and professionally fitted to keep the pups as safe as possible during our short journey times, astro turf, soft lighting and music ( my singing ) sets the tone for the funsters to have fun :)
