Meet Luca!

Luca is an approximately 5 month old male crossbreed. This young man could grow up to be rather big and is looking for someone with the time and patience to put into his training.

Luca is a lovely natured lad but it is definitely time to get him out of kennels and into a stable home as he is beginning to get a bit cheeky at times.

He is most definitely going to be a bit of a handful and we would prefer an experienced home where he is the only animal and you can put all of your energy into him. He could live with older children but no youngsters as he does sometimes forget himself which could be very scary for a young child.

This lovely boy has the potential to be a really well rounded companion but he is going to need help to get there.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU CAN GIVE LUCA EXACTLY WHAT HE NEEDS BEFORE GETTING IN TOUCH!

Meet Cookie!!

She and her son Lucky are looking for their forever home together aged 5 and 4.

This pair are really beginning to come out of their shell. They arrived very scared, but, despite this, they have never shown one bit of aggression towards anyone.

They do seem to enjoy each others company and, although they may take some time to properly settle and be comfortable in their new home, they will eventually be very affectionate cats.

These two are on the heavier side, and because of this, someone who is dedicated to their weight loss journey and some active play times is a must.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU CAN GIVE THEM EXACTLY WHAT THEY NEED BEFORE GETTING IN TOUCH!

5. Best vintage dog (10+ years) - Tom Holmes Cup
6. Best Rescue Dog - Suggs Memorial Cup
7. Best Brysons Dog - Brysons cup
8. Most handsome male dog
9. Prettiest female dog
10. Dog the judge would like to take home

Open to all dogs, not just Brysons dogs (apart from class 7).

Classes start at 11am.
£1 entry per class, per dog, just pay as you enter the ring.

Rosettes from 1st to 4th place.

We’d like to introduce you all to Cole!
A very sleepy version of him 🥰.

Cole was a resident at the shelter around a year ago and it very quickly became obvious that he would love the working dog life.

Well….. we are very happy to say that, as of last week, Cole has passed all of his assessments and is now a fully fledged drug detection dog!!!! 🥳🥳🥳

We’re so happy for him and everyone who contributed and continues to contribute to his training!

We wish you the best life Cole!!!!! 🫶

ONLINE DOG SHOW

Please read the below before

Our online dog show is now live and starts and the theme is 'Anything Goes'.

So let's see all your picture of your beautiful doggy friends, past and present.

First place will win a hamper and a rosette (HAMPER MUST BE COLLECTED FROM THE SHELTER). Second and third place will win a rosette which can be posted.

Entry is £1 per picture (please post proof of payment with your entry) Pictures to be added in comments under this post. Enter as many times as you like. All money from the online shows will go towards our fund to replace one of our old kennel blocks that is currently out of action. Please use the donate button on our website to pay your entry fee. The show will run until 8pm on 16th June when the entries will be handed over to our judges and the winner will be announced on 23rd June.

Good luck and get thise entries in.

We are a small animal Shelter dedicated to providing the best possible care to the animals who join us, and they do join us for a great variety of reasons. This can be illness, death of owner or just a change of circumstances, and we aim to be there for them when no-one else is able to help.
