Last month, Cedar Pest Control secured another annual contract, this time covering seven large commercial premises across a single site in Leeds. Located within the same grounds, these properties came under our care following reports from the facilities management company of extensive rodent activity and resulting damage.
The main issues identified included significant rat infestations within external air conditioning units and mice gaining access to buildings through gaps around pipework. Left unchecked, these vulnerabilities had already caused damage both inside and out, posing a serious risk to operational continuity.
To resolve the problem, our team swiftly deployed 34 strategically positioned bait stations across all affected areas and sealed every identified ingress point. Going forward, we will conduct routine inspections throughout the year as part of our comprehensive, integrated pest management programme.
