I thought i would share this picture. These are ticks that i found on one dog what i was grooming.
Tick bites can carry diseases, so its important to remove them straight away.
You can remove with a tick remover (see pic below), do not leave its head in.
Ticks bite and feed on your dog. As seen in the picture, the fuller they are, the bigger and darker they get and then they will drop off. Ticks carry bacterial infection called Lymes disease. Symptons include

* Depression
* Loss of appetite
* Fever
* Swollen /painful joints.

They can be anywhere from the ears, gums, bum, feet, armpits
