Happy World Reptile Day! 🌍🐢

is used to educate people about dolphins and how they help protect the oceans 🐬 🌊

Dolphins are important to the ecosystem; they control populations of fishes and squids and keep the balance of the ecosystem.

They are incredibly intelligent mammals, as well as being wonderfully sociable, and are related to porpoises and whales. There are around 40 different species of dolphins, ranging in size from 4 feet to 30 feet.

We are truly saddened to learn of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

We will remember her as the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth’s constant rock, seeing us all through times and change, both good and bad. As an animal lover, she was even closer to our hearts.

We send our thoughts and condolences to King Charles III and The Royal Family.

The National Turtle Sanctuary’s new Turtle Pond at Lincolnshire Wildlife Park is officially open!

Members of the King British team spent four days over the last two months helping to construct a pond that will not only provide enrichment for the turtles, but also provide a safe space for the growing number of turtles being rescued by the sanctuary.

The new pond was officially opened by the Deputy Lieutenant of Lincolnshire on Monday 13th June and will be home to over 500 rescue turtles.

The The National Turtle Sanctuary was created to support the growing need for re-homing unwanted and abandoned turtles. The charity, which relies on donations from the public, also supports owners who, due to the complex nature of caring for turtles, are no longer able to care for their pets.
