Last summer I rescued a barn-swallow who had fallen out his nest, I put him back twice but as the runt he kept being pushed out by the other chicks. I decided to take him in and feed him up for 2 weeks to build his strength up, when he was nearly ready to fly I reinforced the front of the nest with a wooden shelf and put him back in.. I then started overthinking that the parents might come back and reject him so I proceeded to sit in the sheep barn under some hay bales and watch to make sure the mother and father came back and didn’t immediately reject him, after an hour sitting there contemplating my life choices amongst the smell of farm animals and incessant itching from my hay infested clothes, I concluded all was going well for the reunited swallow family and I left them to it .. I often wonder if wee ‘Syd the Swallow’ ever made it to South America for the winter

Why? Up until now life has been pretty unstable and we were unable to commit to any long term plans .. now I can work from home anywhere in the country I can now start looking ahead to take housesitting bookings again 😊

PRICES:
Dog walk - £10
Overnight housesitting (Includes 1 dog, 2 walks per day): £30
Additional dogs: £5 per dog

[Cats and small pets are always included at no extra charge]

Locations we offer:
Gainsborough, Lincolnshire and surrounding villages
Nottingham to Loughborough vicinity

Any bookings more than 20 miles away will be charged an additional fuel contribution of 20p per mile
