Hi everyone,

As some of you may already know Tybellas will be closing September 19th. It hasn't been an easy decision and after almost 10 years of grooming it isn't a decision I have taken lightly. I have loved every minute of my time at Tybellas and I have been fortunate enough to do the job I love for so long. I am being given a fantastic opportunity to move onto a totally different career path and it's one that feels right at this point in my life.

The salon will remain open and I will be renting tables to local groomers. Dog grooming is such a huge part of my life that I couldn't possibly walk away completely. Sadie will still be at the salon working under her own company name https://www.facebook.com/holmesandhoundsgrooming
Sadie is a fantastic groomer and I cannot recommend her enough. We have worked side by side for over 8 years and I will miss our daily laughs and ridiculous sense of humour.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone of you and your amazing doggies that have made my career so enjoyable. None of this would have been possible without you.
I cannot put into words how much joy you and your pets have brought me. I genuinely love each and every one of my clients, past and present and I will miss them all so much. I have been overwhelmed with the support you have shown me on my new journey. The words of support, cards and gifts have blown me away and I will be eternally grateful to each and everyone of you. Thank you!

Huge transformation for the gorgeous Alfie today. He is only 6 months old and it was his first ever groom 🥰. Alfie is now on a regular 8 week schedule. He was amazing throughout.

I recommend Grooming puppies when they've had their second vaccination and are able to socialise. I provide puppy introductions until they're 6 months old and ready for their first haircut. In the introductions I acclimatise them to the grooming experience with a bath, blow dry, nail trimming, face, feet and sanitary trims. This way when they're old enough for a full clip they are comfortable and familiar me, their surroundings and equipment.

I currently have a 10 week waiting time for appointments so recommend booking in advance and sticking to a schedule to avoid disappointment.

Had some sad sad news that our gorgeous regular Robbie has passed over rainbow bridge. Robbie has been coming to us every 6-8 weeks for the past 8 years and I am so upset that I won't get to see that smiling face again. Love you boy 🥺

Every day I try to post a pic of a groom I've recently completed and everyday I sit and think "What can I write today?🤔". It always ends up pretty much the same as the day before.

Today I thought I'd start making my posts more interesting and so going forward for each dog I post, I am going to give you 1 interesting fact that I know about that specific breed. I could talk all day on dogs, their breed history and traits so this way, I get to rabbit on daily about my favourite topic and nobody will mind as we're all dog lovers here 🐕🥰.

Fun fact #1 Schnauzer.. Did you know the Schnauzer hasn't always been called a Schnauzer? Originally they were known as a Wire Haired Pinscher. The name was changed after a dog called Schnauzer won the Wire Haired Pinscher class at a German International show in 1879.

Pretty little Hetty ✨️. Hetty loves hugs and belly rubs and how could I refuse that face 🥰. Mum likes Hetty styled in a shorter Cockapoo trim and I think she looks adorable.

Depending on coat condition, Shih Tzu styles can vary greatly. I love creating different looks from fluffy bears to practical short and tidy trims. This style is ideal for little doggies who like to get mucky or dislike getting brushed at home. 🐶
