Patio fitted for a customer who I have previously fitted a new kitchen, shower room and new wooden flooring throughout downstairs.

All work had to be done by hand, no room for mini diggers here, 12 ton of concrete slabs and soil removed, then 5 ton of limestone back in and compacted before the fun bit of laying the new sandstone started.

I've been really busy recently with renovation jobs, this was a one I did in Owston Ferry a while ago now.

The work entailed fitting a new kitchen, a new bathroom, tiling for both, new flooring, building a fireplace surround and a new garden room, no photos of the garden room sadly.

Helping me on this one was Julian Howden with fitting the kitchen and Ian Thorpe with the plumbing.

Garden room/ home office I have just completed this week with my friend Julian Howden.

We started from scratch digging out and laying the concrete base to fully completing the building and supplying all the materials and we also sourced the other tradesmen we needed. (plasterer and electrician)

We are both very pleased how it has come together and most importantly the owners are 😊 happy.

Quite a big block paved driveway job I have just done with my mate Julian Howden, I don't think anyone could disagree with me that it looks loads better than when we started.

A garden I have just given a new lease of life to with the help of my good friend Julian Howden, it has taken just over three weeks to complete which is a long time but everything had to be moved by hand due to limited access we couldn't get a mini digger in so it was the good old wheelbarrow, shovel and put your back into it.
We removed 30 tons of soil and then 11 tons of limestone was put back in, we definitely needed the tea, biscuits and our dinner but what a transformation, let's hope for a few good weeks of weather so this family can enjoy it.

An existing customer has bought a fabulous new home which is grade II listed, I hope you'll all agree that the new patio I have laid is much better than the rickety old block paved one.
Many more jobs to do here and it is a lovely house now but will be so fabulous once it is completed.

I was commissioned last year to make this dresser top for a kitchen and it was completed last month and I think it looks really lovely now it's painted. Love doing woodwork.

Some work I did recently with my friend Julian Howden which wasn't completed by some other tradesmen, laying engineered flooring, boxing in pipes, make and fit doors, fit skirting boards and finish kitchen installation. A very happy customer now restoring their faith after having a difficult time with some other tradesmen before us.

Helped to do patio for this customer and was asked about a pergola at the time, it has taken a few weeks to get back to them with wood shortages but I am super pleased with it and I got to work with a joiner mate who I've known since school, two heads are better than one as they say and no way I could have held up the timber and secured at the same time. 😉

Goodbye old rotten slippery decking and welcome to our new patio and path just a bit of landscaping to do now but I am super pleased with it, I think our dogs Ben, Sally and Baxter like it.
