Okay I have determined that the Indian ringneck is a wild one. I can't release her under the law. Ringnecks are naturalized here but there is a lot that determines whether they can be released. one being if they will be accepted back into a colony which is highly unlikely in this circumstance. I've named her Chloe because I name all animals wild or not. She is slowly putting on weight and her balance is better. Her poo looks great, eyes, and nostrils clear and she gives squawks when we approach the cage and sings when we have music playing. She loves her veg and occasional fruit as well as nuts. I'll have to weigh all options going forward on where she ends up. Right now she is happy and gaining her strength back and that is my main concern. 💕

I had an Indian ringneck parrot brought to me early this morning and was found in a park being attacked by magpies. I haven't determined whether she is wild or not so in case I have to place a post in lost and found birds I'm not posting a picture. She's underweight and nails very long and she seems to be having trouble maintaining balance so she will be here for a while to gain strength.
I will be doing an Amazon wishlist for her as I don't have a lot of size appropriate things for her. So any help is appreciated ❤️

Our beautiful River which we got last year and would have been three this year, has passed away. She was fine in herself with no sickness symptoms, and was eating and drinking. I found her late last night at the bottom of the cage barely hanging on and I knew she wouldn't make it. 😭💔 I'm absolutely gutted. She was a funny bird who only got excited at feeding time and was first to the bowls. She would rebuff Charlie's, one of our males, advances, looking at him like he was beneath her station 😂. He was very protective of her though and would stay next to her while she ate so no one disturbed her. River you were a light in our home and will be missed. Fly free my darling we will always love you 💔

Casper our newest boy is quite clever. In this video you will see him fake pooing X3 and can't get out because he thinks he can con me 🙄. All of this is try to get me, mummy to coddle him like I know his previous owner did. I'll cuddle but not coddle 🤣!

Ludo is definitely my boy 🤣 my husband is still convinced ludo doesn't like him 🤣🤣🤣! I do love my turtle son ❤️
