Whitethorn Equestrian clinics
❗️IMPORTANT NOTICE ❗️
Due to the increased outbreaks of Equine Influenza across the country, all horses must be accompanied with their relevant passports, showing their up to date vaccinations.
12 month vaccination is required with a minimum of 2 initial vaccinations (NOT within the last 7 days).
Spot checks of passports will be carried out upon arrival to help minimise any risk of spread.
Any horses that are NOT vaccinated are not permitted on site under any circumstance.
If you suspect your horse or any other horse on your yard is unwell, has a raised temperature and/or ANY viral signs or symptoms, please do not travel.
Please follow these important guidelines:
▪️Any horse attending the facilities must have an up-to-date vaccination and produce a supporting passport.
▪️Do not graze horses on site.
▪️Do not allow horses to touch each other and keep a safe distance where possible.
▪️Do not share water buckets with other horses.
▪️DO NOT allow any direct contact with any horses in fields/ stables, via visiting horses or handlers.
▪️DO NOT travel your horse if suspect any symptoms in your horse or any horse at your stables.
