Oh Poppy, what a transformation! 🐾
This gorgeous little miniature Cockapoo came in with a few too many knots and tangles, but after some much-needed TLC, she's looking and feeling fabulous!
Lots of pampering and cuddles for this little sweetheart! ❤️

Oti is a gorgeous doodle who finds grooming, especially the noise of the dryer, quite overwhelming. She's only on her second visit with me, and we're taking things at her pace, focusing on building trust, confidence and reassurance.
Lots of patience, plenty of tasty treats, happy hoodies, ear protection and lots of cuddles along the way! 🥰
Every dog is different, and sometimes the biggest achievement isn't the finished haircut… it's the little steps forward.
I'm so proud of this girl and how far she's already come. ❤️
It's not just about the groom, it's about the trust.

💕 Meet little Nellie! 💕
This gorgeous little love bomb came to Top Tails Dog Grooming for her first of three puppy introduction sessions!

Today was all about building confidence and making positive associations with the sights, smells and sounds of the salon. From exploring her new surroundings to enjoying a gentle bath and blow-dry, Nellie had lots of new experiences to take in.
Some things felt a little scary at first, but with plenty of tasty treats, gentle reassurance and lots of cuddles, she soon discovered that grooming can be a positive experience. 🥰
Puppy introductions are all about taking things at their own pace, building trust and helping little ones feel safe and happy for their future grooms. 💗

Little Lola’s first groom with me!

Lola was such a lovely girl for her first visit! She was a little unsure about having her front legs handled, so I took my time and hand-scissored as best I could to keep her comfortable.
Grooming is all about patience, kindness and building trust, and we’ll keep working together at Lola’s pace to help her feel more confident with each visit.
Well done, little Lola — you were a sweetheart! ❤️

🐾🍂 Rhubarb’s gorgeous autumn glow-up! 🍂🐾

Due to some matting in her coat, I needed to go a little shorter than usual to get her comfortable and feeling her best.
She’s looking absolutely adorable with her fresh trim and that cute little face! And just look at her Halloween frill! 🎃
Regular brushing and coat maintenance between grooms can really help prevent matting and keep your doodle’s coat in tip-top condition.

A big cuddle for beautiful Rhubarb!

Meet William the cockapoo
First we have the classic "I'm not sure about this" back-to-camera-pose...then absolutely no interest in treats!
Followed by a little lie down while being dried. And finally deciding that a treat was just what he needed!

Every do has their own little personality, and it's always lovely getting to know them and make their grooming experience as relaxed and enjoyable as possible.

Well done, sweet William x

Lovely Cooper came in for his groom this morning 🥰

His owners wanted him clipped nice and short, including his ears, so he’s had a lovely little freshen-up!
Cooper was feeling a little nervous, so we took our time with lots of cuddles, patience and reassurance, and we got there in the end! 🥹 Just look at that sweet face and those gorgeous eyes! Such a handsome boy, Cooper!

🐾 Meet Ernie the Cockapoo! 🐾
What a handsome boy! Ernie came in for his pamper session this morning and enjoyed a lovely spa treatment to leave him feeling fresh, clean and smelling gorgeous!
Ernie had a few matted areas, so unfortunately I had to go a little shorter with his haircut than I would have liked, but his comfort always comes first. He's looking absolutely adorable with his fresh new look!
Lots of cuddles, pampering and TLC for this gorgeous boy. 💕
