Tuesday 9th of July from 2-6 pm a celebration of the life of Jayne Marie Brown will be held at East Afton Farm.

Smart summer dress please.

I would like to take this time to thank everyone for their kind and heartfelt messages, cards, letters and beautiful flowers. Filled with tales of Mum’s great strong character and love all things living, of being a wonderful horsewoman, inspiring teacher and mentor, friend, auntie, sister in law and all round incredible human being with a great sense of humour, a strong sense honesty (sometimes a little too honest!) and who certainly wasn’t afraid to say it how it was! A force of nature, formidable but incredibly kind and fun loving, Mum was a true character and will be remembered by many for years to come. Loved deeply and missed terribly but never forgotten ♥️

We would love for everyone attending to leave a a favourite memory of Mum in books provided at the memorial but if you would prefer to, you could write something down and bring it along with you ♥️

I took these of our wonderful head girl Neve accompanying our PC girls to their inter-schools dressage comp after helping to get them competition ready! A great fun day had by everyone, Neve’s face says it all ♥️

Glassy river Yar last week looking beautiful as ever, on our way home it was full of water loving enthusiasts-boats, kayaks, paddle boards, cold water swimmers! We love to see it 😍♥️

A pillar of reassuring continuity for your people with inspiring commitment to the values of leadership, duty and service throughout your exemplary 70 year reign, inarguably qualities that we so desperately need to mirror in today’s society.

Your genuine love of horses was no secret, a great equestrian, your knowledge and expertise inestimable. Your wonderful relationship with horses was one of joy, freedom, and understanding. They say, for you, it was duty first, family second and horses, a very close third! They, were the constant in your life, and your contribution them and the surrounding equestrian world, far to great to list, was immeasurable.

Remembered with the greatest respect, warmth and affection, we thank you Ma’am, for everything.
