Hello you lovely lot on this lovely sunny Thursday! 🌞☀️🌞☀️
Just a quick post to say if you are wanting your dog groomed in the next few months, please try and let me know in good time. May is a really busy month for me, I’m off to Rome again (bursting with excitement!) when I get get home, do you remember that little baby I told you all I had had in lockdown?! Well she will be turning 6, and then our sheep showing season kicks off, with soooo much preparation to do beforehand! So if you’re wanting your dog done for their summer trims I’d try and get some dates in the diary now if possible to avoid disappointment.
Lastly, everyone has been so lovely asking how my dad is, he’s doing great and progressing everyday! Positive outlook all round heading for summer!

Hi guys! Happy Sunday!
Am beyond happy to tell you all my dad came home this Friday 🥳🥳🥳
If you told me a week again he would be home, I wouldn’t have believed you! This obviously means his progression has been really positive, and we were all in agreement he would recover better at home. His rehab continues on a long road but feeling happy we can get there! This means work wise ,I’m back to normal. If you have an appointment this week, please assume it will be happening as normal. I’m working through my list of people who I had to reschedule, and will get back to you within the next two days. Thanks so much for all your kind words and also everyone’s patience, it means a lot!

Evening guys, I’m slowly returning to a semi jolly post! Thank you to everyone who has messaged, called and sent me words of kindness and encouragement this week. As you can imagine it came as a big shock, and was something I was definitely not prepared to deal with. My dad is making steady progress and is being moved to South petherton hospital tomorrow to continue his rehabilitation. Im just talking with my brothers and sister to try and make some sort of rota type system so i know which days i can work and for how long. If he settles ok tomorrow, i will try my best to resume work by mid week. All people with an appointment this week will be contacted and everyone who I had to cancel this week will be offered another slot ASAP. Thank you to everyone for your patience, and looking forward to see you all soon

Hi everyone. Not the usual jolly post about dogs from me today I’m afraid. This evening my dad very sadly suffered a stroke and although we are keeping positive that he is going to be ok, I’m unfortunately not in the right frame of mind to be grooming dogs at present. I will message all my people this week, as it’s looking likely I’ll be rescheduling until I know he’s on the mend. All calls and messages will take longer for me to respond too and am taking some time to be with my family. Hold everyone tight and close as things can so quickly change.

𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁

This week, and in celebration of International Women’s Day, we would like to shine the spotlight on Aimee and her business Whitegate Grooming. Highlighting the businesses that support Health & Remedy:

After a long winter our dog Foxi 🦊 was in serious need of a groom, but unfortunately everywhere seemed to be fully booked. Luckily Aimee was able to be flexible and fit her in before she started looking more like a yeti 🐕. It is only about seven minutes outside Chard and when we arrived at the working farm we found a lovely purpose built grooming room where Aimee took the time to ask questions and make sure Foxi would be calm and comfortable during her trim.

I headed back into town and about an hour later I received a message giving me thirty minutes notice that she would be ready. When I picked Foxi up she looked about five pounds lighter and apparently had had a little nap too, which says everything about how relaxed she was. She even left with a little flower on her collar 🌸 ready for spring. Aimee’s attention to detail was brilliant and she was so welcoming and kind. Foxi will definitely be going back.
