These roads works may affect some of our customers recommend planning ahead as may take you a little longer to get here

Repairs are to take place on the A706 between Lanark and Forth from next week.
The carriageway surface improvements begin on Tuesday 26 May and are expected to last for up to three days.
The A706 will be closed between Harelaw roundabout to Silverbirch House.

The amount of circling, sniffing, reconsidering, walking away… only to return to the original spot anyway. Meanwhile we’re standing there like unpaid emotional support staff.

Improvements are to take place on a section of the A706 in Clydesdale next week.
The road will be closed for up to one day from 8am on Thursday 30 April between Lanark and Forth Harelaw roundabout to Silverbirch House.

A few bits and pieces have been left behind at Archie’s recently – easy done, especially when the dogs are having the time of their lives.

We’ve gathered everything up and popped the items in the top shelter by the car park if you’d like to collect them. These include a pair of glasses, insulated cup and some leads.

Just a gentle reminder to take home everything or you bring with you or use bins provided – that includes balls, toys… and anything else your dog might leave behind 💩

We've got spaces available this week for dogs and their humans to come and enjoy the field. Whether your pup loves a full-on zoomie session or just a relaxed sniff around in the fresh air, now's the perfect time to get booked in.

After a lot of “discussion” (mainly with the dogs… they were very vocal), we’re excited to announce a brand new feature launching this month…

🎾 SELF-THROWING TENNIS BALLS 🎾

That’s right. No more sore arms. No more half-hearted throws after your third coffee.

Our new smart balls will:
✔️ Launch themselves
✔️ Adjust to your dog’s speed (yes, even that one)
✔️ Occasionally ignore your dog completely… just to keep things interesting

We’ve also installed a “Mud Preference Setting” so your dog can choose just how filthy they’d like to get.

Trial sessions start today… if you can catch one.

There’s something in the air again… and it’s not just the mud and mischief.

The birds are back. Properly back. Loud, unapologetic, everywhere you turn across Archie’s. Cue the staring. The pointing. The “if I just leap high enough this time…” energy.

Spring’s creeping in, the field’s waking up, and it’s all feeling a bit brighter again. 🐾

All is good except that lost hour! Remember clocks are springing forward ⏰

Lighter evenings are creeping back in, which means more time for the good stuff… dogs running full pelt, muddy paws, that “just five more minutes” feeling that somehow turns into an hour.

Going forward, we’ll be leaning right into those longer days. More sunset and sunrise sessions.

So whether you’re squeezing in a post-work run-around or making an evening of it, the gate’s open and the light’s staying a little longer.
