🎄Amazing you’ve kept us busy right up until today! Final orders for Christmas are being taken up until today 17th December 2024. After this orders will be processed from 7th January 2025 onwards. Our last orders have gone out over the past week, dropped off, posted and collected today…

✨A big thank you again to each and every one of you, our customers this year, for all of your support of our small business gradually expanding. It’s been busy but wonderful, again sharing our produce locally and across Scotland, England and Wales…

🎄It’s been so exciting this year starting to produce our own candles, harvesting this year’s honey and also setting up and launching our new website The Farmhouse Online. Lots of beekeeping over the last week ..
We collected the hives from our heather apiary ..
These were split into nuc boxes ready for winter before coming back ..
Lots of delicious Scottish heather honey to process from these ..
And we said goodbye to this site for another year ..
Back at our farmhouse apiary ..
All hives have been checked for their queens ..
And reduced into nucs or down to less boxes ready for winter ..
There are lots of bees in the hives ..
And lots of beautiful Summer blossom honey to process from these too ..
Very clever honey bees ..

At our heather apiary today ..
A lovely few hours beekeeping ..
The Ling Heather is out in full bloom ..
The hives are doing great so far ..
Our clever honey bees are working on the section frames ..
They are working on super frames ..
Filling them with beautiful Scottish Heather Honey ..
The hives are packed with bees ..
We had a nuc there too we needed to check for queen cells and a queen emerging ..
We witnessed this as well .. amazing ..
