When VLAD first came into us to be looked after and asked to help bring him out of his shell he was so scared, lashed out, spat and had the name VLAD for a reason.

We did so much work to find the cat he could be and we did well, really well that one day someone decided to take a chance on him, with his new name now being Tommy.

Tommy has landed on his paws with his new dad and kitty house brothers and hand on heart, if I would have had to have picked someone to adopt him it, it would have been this person.

They were instantly mates, connected and you could tell Tommy had found his human

Now look at Tommy, he's living his best life, he's loved and he's looking so amazing.

Thank you Will for giving him the chance he deserved, people like you are special.

These 2 are amazing at cuddled, loves your lap, love to explore and just went to be loved.

Could you give these 2 babies a home, they must be rehomed together 😻😻

Hello everyone

It's becoming harder and harder to attend so many missing and injured cats.

I general suggestion if you try to get hold of us and don't get any replies, usually cause we are busy, please take any injured or heavily malnourished cats straight to a very, they will check for a microchip and contact the owners, or do appeals to any owners if there is no microchip.

If you come across any cats who are very healthy and are just generally happy, maybe they are out on a wander and enjoying life, if they stay in the same place or you notice them in the area over the course of the day, it could be that they live near by.

If course we will still always endeavour to come out and please still message us but there is only 1 or 2 of us available and we also have full time jobs to pay for our cat help to carry on, so sometimes we may not not being able to come out straight away.

What I will say this time of year, as are now coming to the end of kitten season, that doesn't mean it's over but the amount of missing unneutered male cats will slow down.

Please, can everyone get their boy and girl cats neutered, the amount of kitten litters we and so many rescues that have had come through to us this year has been near on record breaking.

If you have issues affording this operation there are number of charities who will help you out.

Hello everyone

Firstly big apologies to everyone who's been tagging us and messaging us.

Someone thought they would try and take ownership of our page and it's been a fight to get it released.

All is good now and I will be going through the numerous tags and messages over the next week

But while we're here, please welcome Prince and Gizmo, two 1 year old black and white boys, both are neutered, vaxed and in perfect health.

Absolutely loving and love to cuddle

These boys are available for adoption but they must go as a pair.

We will not be sharing links to this, any extracts of it, or any petitions on our page, and we respectfully ask that nobody else does. Any such posting will result in blocking.

This type of thing is extremely traumatising, and can be severely triggering for people with mental health issues.

We work every day in an emotionally draining and challenging arena, and we do all we can.

The Power of Microchipping your pet......

We were called to a cat who has been frequenting a ladies garden for a few weeks in Folkestone.

We competed a chip check and found that he had been missing since January 2023.

Family and cat are being reunited later today

Everyone meet Bobble a beautiful 3 year old black (and white bibbed)boy who was left to fend for himself by an owner who didn't want him any more.

With the help of the Animal Samaritans he and his grandmother were rescued after a local lady had continued to feed them on a roof after their owner packed up and left them behind.

Bobble has now come us to be looked after as you can see he's extremely frightened after his life was turned up side down, he's going need time to understand his new situation.

But with our love and help he will be ready to go to a new home.

Somethings to know.

Bobble is FIV+ this means he can only be adopted to an indoor home or a home with an enclosed outside space, he also cannot live with other cats unless they are FIV as well.

He is neutered and vaccinated.

Please welcome this beautiful boy to Maggies and we will keep you updated with his progress over the coming weeks.

Just been out on our donation collection

I can't thank everyone enough for their generosity, some for coco, some for rescues and a lovely family have asked us to donate their generous offerings to any family's who are finding times tough.

We still help families who need some support so I can guarantee those items will be so needed and welcome.

Have we let anyone borrow any of our microchip scanners.

If we have, can you let us know, we seem to not have any.

I know sometimes we may leave a scanner with someone if a cat is elusive when we arrive.

Hello everyone

I was in a car accident yesterday

I'm all OK, no issues with me but our car is going to need alot of work and it's going to be off the road for a little while.

So for the next 2/3 weeks, unless it's extreme emergencies we won't be able to attend any cases.
