Shortly after these pics, Frankie found his own stick, at which point Mabel abandoned her stick and started chasing him for his! I then picked up Mabel's discarded stick, Frankie dropped his stick for that one, and Mabel triumphantly claimed Frankie's stick for herself. And all was right with the world 🙏 🤣

Some of you may have noticed that we are missing one of our lovely regulars this week 💔 Unfortunately, Justin has been very poorly indeed, and is currently still staying with a specialist vet referral practice.

Another scorcher today, so Frankie and I were out at 7.30 this morning to get his exercise in!
I've seen some misinformation around about heatstroke, so remember, if your dog is overheating they need to be cooled down immediately. Full immersion in COLD water is the best way to do this. It doesn't matter how cold the water is, it won't shock them. Then, straight to the vet.
Cool first, transport second.
