🎄 A Christmas story: Charlie and Savannah ✨️

We have THOROUGHLY enjoyed hosting these two. Charlie is part of the furniture 🪑😉 and Savannah is his new, absolute Christmas cracker of a sister 💕.

Both are the most increible breed - rescue 🐾

They started life discarded and unwanted before journeying to the UK to find homes 🏡 Charlie was fostered by Holly before finding his dream family locally, and Savannah went to live further afield.

Sadly, Savannah's owner recently became unwell and could no longer care for her. Charlie's wonderful pawrent stepped up without hesitation and, just like that, a new family was formed 👩💕🐕💕🐕 . Although they aren’t related (can you believe it?!), you’d never know it - they look and act like siblings in the sweetest way! 🐶🐶

With Savannah only recently joining the family, we took even greater time and care with familiarisation 🙂; it has been a big few months for her, and we wanted to absolutely ensure she was comfortable enough to board with us.

We were rewarded with THE BEST nighttime cuddles 💤 and the most beautiful, respectful, gentle, funny and sweet dynamic between Charlie, Savannah and Nova, our resident boarding dog. It was TRULY beautiful to watch.

✨ Their visit is also a gentle reminder: adopt, don’t shop. Every dog deserves a chance, and there are so many beautiful pups already in this world who need their comfy sofas and loving humans. Charlie, Savannah (and Nova) are living proof of the joy they bring ✨️

More autumn escapades ... with Albi, Fern and the gang! 🍂

We have recently enjoyed caring for this gorgeous household once more. Having been with Happy Dog Holiday Care since the very beginning, nothing is ever too much trouble for these pups, kitties, and their fish and hen siblings! 🐕 🐕 🐈 🐈 🐟 🐠 🐔

The cozy cuddly vibes were in full swing as the season changed to darker evenings and cooler wetter weather 🤗. Albi and Fern benefit most from exercising in local enclosed fields, which we happily hire for them to enjoy. Albi gets to go 'full spaniel' and will run and sniff for hours, while Fern likes a gentle, yet very thorough 🧐, patrol of the perimeter, sniffing every inch and taking in those gorgeous countryside smells 🌳🍂🪾.

We had a lot of fun getting fresh air on our outdoor adventures 🍃, working our brains with treatos and games in the home 🦴 and then mega evening cuddles on the sofa as the evenings closed in 🥰.

🐾 Embracing autumn with Gorgeous Gracie! 🍂

We’ve once again had the pleasure of spending more time with our lovely regular, Gracie 💛. Gracie benefits from our continuous sit service, for pups who prefer not to be left alone, and this sweet girl is just a joy to be with — especially when she’s with her bestie Nova (Holly's dog and boarding house resident)! 🐾

These two have a beautiful energy and enjoyed lots of play dates over a fortnight, ensuring Gracie had everything a gal could hope for - individual attention, walks, cuddles, games and fun in the mornings, then over to Church Crookham in the afternoon to catch-up with Nova and enjoy even more walkies, treats and cuddles🥰, before evenings chilling and snoozing on the sofa 🤗🐶.

It’s always a treat to care for dogs who feel like family. Enjoy clicking through photos of Gracie and Nova - BFFs! ... although we couldn't resist headlining with the puddle shot - autumn dog walks summed up pawfectly! 🍂

We had such a wonderful time looking after Gaja, Margaux, and Batman while their owners were away getting married! 💍✨

Our days were filled with long walks, fun hikes, and endless cuddles. The girls were spoiled with plenty of treats, although Margaux made it clear her absolute favourite snack was the pears that fell straight from the garden tree 🍐💛.

Batman the cat celebrated his 16th birthday in style too… we surprised him with some chicken shaped as a “B” and a balloon (artistry isn’t our strong point! 😅).

As always, it was such a joy spending time with this lovely trio while their family celebrated such a special occasion. 💕🐶🐶🐱

🌞 Two weeks of sunshine, snuggles, and tail wags 🌞

We've just wrapped up a wonderful stay with Fern and Albi (our four-legged adventurers), Rafi and Raya (the feline royalty), plus the flock of hens and fabulous fish 🐾🐔🐟. This gorgeous group live together in pawfect harmony, which made for some magical moments, chilling in the garden with dogs, cats and hens all mingling happily 💖.

From sniffy woodland walks to full-speed zoomies in a private enclosed field we hired just for them, Fern and Albi made the most of the glorious weather. We also roped in 'Terry the Happy Dog paddling pool' for added cooling options when the heat really hit! Add in sun-drenched naps, gourmet treats, and plenty of cuddles - and you’ve got two very happy pups 🐶🐶.

This household is always a joy to care for, and we’re honoured to be their trusted sitters. Looking forward to seeing them again in October 💛

Another beautiful sit with Maximus and his feline friends! 🐶🐈🐈‍⬛

Maximus is one of our regulars, and we LOVE spending time with him. As always, our time together consisted of exciting walks around the beautiful local walking spots 🌳, a trip into town (he loves a trip to Gail’s!) ☕️, a visit to the local garden centre (specifically their dog toy section) 🦴, playing in the garden and LOTS of cuddles! 😍

Diesel was his usual adventurous self and spent lots of time with us in the garden, whilst Clarabel was happiest either sleeping or eating dreamies 🤣🐱.

It’s always an absolute pleasure to look after this adorable trio, and we can’t wait to see them again soon. Thanks for being the perfect host, Maximus! 🐾🩵🥰

🐾 Bruce is back! 🐾

For the past two weeks, we have had the pleasure of hosting Mr B. once more 😊. He is such a super little gentleman, with a heart of gold and a snore that could rival a lawnmower 😂💙

Bruce is legendary for strutting in like he never left, and promptly setting up shop in Nova's day bed, where he snoozes like a champion! Rest assured, Nova is very accommodating and has MANY other lounging options 💕.

His funny sweet character and contented energy around the boarding home means he is always welcome. His days were tailored to his needs and, aside from nap time, included two walkies, lots of chew time, cuddles (as standard of course!) and fuss.

Until next time, Bruce. You are missed already and the daybed remains fluffed and ready for you 💙.
