Unfortunately we said a sad goodbye to another member of the Wags & Walkies pack this week 💔

The lovely Milly. She hadn’t been part of the pack long but she still made a huge impact, her care was mainly pop in’s and sniffy walks alongside overnights due to her age being 16!! She was such a fab pup and despite not being part of the pack long I have some fab memories of her, such as when I was overnighting looking her and we were relaxing on the sofa all nice and calmly until the cat food advert Felix came on then she was up like a shot barking away 🤣 never seen her move so fast 🤣

She was the biggest lover of ham and we used to have to use tasty persuasion to get her up and ready to go for a little sniffy walk for a wee 🤣

I will miss you so much Milly, go and eat all the ham you can and rest easy ❤️🐾🐶🌈

What a soggy walk!!!

Thankfully this bunch didn’t care one bit, if anything it made the zoomies bigger 🤣

On this walk we have Jessie, Willow, Dolly, Cooper & Little Willow 🐾🐶 a full family catch up outing as Jessie, Willow & Dolly are sisters and Cooper & Little Willow are Dolly’s kids making them Jessie and Willows niece and nephew 🤣 everyone keeping up?? 😮‍💨🤣

Rosie enjoyed a good play in her garden before her dinner on her pop in visit this afternoon! Such a happy face ☺️❤️🐾🐶

Today was a sad day as we said goodbye to the lovely Cody who’s been with the Wags & Walkies pack for many many years!!

His lovely owner is training to be a driving instructor so Cody is going to have his mum around more and as such our time for consistent walks has come to and end!!

But we wish Cody’s mum all the best with her new dream and job and we’ll still see Mr Codes around the village and in the fields!!

We’ll miss you Cody, myself and all your many many furry friends ❤️🐾🐶

What a toasty day but got to celebrate my birthday with some lovely doggos!! 🥳🐾

I’m looking after Poppy & Betty overnight so we’ve been on a lovely walk and thankfully managed to dodge the storm that has arrived (it’s very welcome!!) and they been participated in the birthday fun with persuasion of biscuits 🤣🤣

Hi everyone as I’m sure you’ve all seen we’re going back into another week+ of really hot weather ☀️🕶️

Due to the extreme heat that’s coming walks will obviously need to be adjusted or even cancelled.

If anyone is at home I would encourage walks be cancelled purely as someone is at home so access to the garden is available and this will allow me to split my time between dogs who are home alone.

There is absolutely no fee for cancelling as your dog’s safety is my top priority and concern during such extreme weather ☺️

Can you please let me know asap what your thinking in terms of next week so I can make plans as my days get very busy with lots of pop ins and I want to make sure everyone gets what they need while staying safe and cool ☺️

So far Monday is sitting at 28 and Tuesday - Friday are sitting 30 - 33! So very hot all week!! ☀️🕶️🥵

These temperatures are not likely to drastically change I believe, however if there is a change and any walks can go ahead as normal I will let you know ☺️

Please understand that any cancelled walks are not done for my benefit as this extreme weather causes a big loss in income for me but my top and upmost priority is your dogs safety and missing a walk will not harm them ☺️

It’s meant to be heating up from tomorrow (Sunday) so please be safe everyone and as always we’ll be back to the rain soon enough! 🐾🐶

Charlie also decided none of the cushions needed to stay on the sofa and were better on the floor 🙈 nothing was getting in the way of his post snooze!!
