TWEEDDALE TROTTER

Tweeddale Trotter was the first horse Ross bought to train, it was plain to see that after 3 runs he just wasn’t a racehorse, he was sold to a young lass from Cheshire to go and do a bit of hacking and showjumping. 4 years later he’s still with her and even qualified for Aintree ROR showjumping this year before going on to finish 12th in a massive class of 54 entries.

Well done Darcey Woodley he’s an absolute credit to you and the hard work you’ve put into him

INVICTION

As some of you may be aware we took the decision at the end of last season to retire him. He spent the summer doing some Common Ridings with Ross. At the end of August Ross got a phone call from Jaime Latham asking what we were doing with him through the winter as she was looking for a horse to hunt. Jaime adores him and used to ride him out for Ross every day when he was down that way so he made the easy decision to loan him to her for the winter before coming back to common ride with Ross again next summer. As you can see he is looking unreal and clearly loves his hunting 😍😍

Although we may be quiet on social media we have certainly have been busy…

Unfortunately we have outgrown our yard but have finally secured a new place, which needed all the old fences ripped out, dug out fields tidied and new a new fence round the field. Ross had ripped out off the old fencing and was all systems go digging the old muck out and levelling the shed as best we could today with a digger. Massive thanks to Jamie Hamilton for driving the digger and Jim Currie for the lend of his tractor and trailer.

Next up is building some stables so keep your eyes open for that 👀
