Today myself and the dogs got back to some Hoopers training. Today it was Novice course running. Annie is Novice in Hoopers class with Canine Hoopers Uk. She really trys her hardest and when I get my handling right this is the end result on a Novice Barrllers course.

Super day at Ey Up Hoopers Show. Watched some lovely partnerships today. My boy Khan won Hoopers, which takes him upto Novice, and also got a 3rd. Annie got two 3rds. :-)

Today at 5 months old Dottie passed her Good Hoopers Award Foundation Level. Over the moon with her. :-)

Today I went for a lesson with an Advanced Instructor. We worked on course running as two of my dogs have qualified for the Nationals this year, and the course we trained on was one used in last years Nationals. It took a few goes but this is the end result, with Annie my Kelpie. :-)

Ey Up Hoopers ran a Payg ring at Stardom Agility Fun Show. Lot's of fun was had. :-)

Hoopers the up and coming fun, safe dog sport which provides structure through the Foundation, Bronze, Silver and Gold, Good Hoopers awards. Great for all dogs and of special benefit to Agility dogs, whether just starting out or more experienced. Young dogs learn fun, focus and drive and commitment. Experienced dogs benefit from distance handling skills and older retired dogs enjoy Hoopers as a safe enrichment activity.
Hoopers is now available in the Harrogate/Knaresborough area thanks to Annette Harper of White Rose Hoopers. Annette is an accredited instructor with experience of many breeds. Annette has had success in the Breed Ring, Kennel Club competitive obedience and has taken part in Sheep Dog Trials which gives her a depth of understanding and knowledge that is reflected in her approach to training. Annette is equally aware of the handlers well being. Her calm, patient approach promotes confidence and self belief. Looking for an activity to keep your dogs happy and gently challenged? Brilliant day yesterday at Calmer Dog Training, Hoopers show. Khan got a 1st and 2 x 2nds and 5th in the winter league and Annie got a 2nd and an unplaced 4th.
