🐾 Feel Good Friday 🐾

We recently met the utterly gorgeous Cosmo. He was feeling a bit off colour and looking very sorry for himself. Our vets were suspicious Cosmo had eaten something he shouldn’t have so we took some x-rays and sure enough they found something that didn't look right.

Vet Jordan took Cosmo into theatre and a while later he discovered the middle of a corn on the cob!! 🌽

Cosmo had been a naughty boy and helped himself after the family had enjoyed their dinner.

Cosmo’s family were so grateful to the team and they suprised us with some goodies and a beautifully drawn card from their children.

We are so pleased all was well and Cosmo is now at home recovering from his ordeal 💙

A microchip provides a simple, safe, and permanent way to help reunite you with your pet if they ever go missing. It only takes a few moments to implant and can make all the difference in helping your pet find their way back home.

We encourage all pet owners to:
✔ Check that their pets are microchipped
✔ Ensure their contact details are up to date
✔ Book an appointment if their pet has not yet been microchipped

If your pet isn't microchipped yet, now is the perfect time to schedule an appointment and give yourself extra peace of mind.

OWNERS HAVE BEEN FOUND 😻

Our friends over at St Mary's Vets have asked us to share to help get this boy reunited with his family....

"Young adult male cat is neutered and has a tabby coat pattern with white markings on his chin and whisker pads. He has green eyes and a tipped left ear. He is microchipped, but the chip is not currently registered. He was found on Church Road near the traffic light junction at approximately 9:00 am today and was brought to St Mary's Vets by a member of the public"

Lovely little Max came in recently to see vet Jordan for a check up.

At 12 years young he is one of our senior patients. We love meeting all our patients but there is something super special about our golden oldies 💜

We couldn't leave Lyra out! She is the sister of Noodle from our post yesterday!

Look at these beautiful eyes 😻

Lyra enjoyed exploring the cat only consultation room! Plenty of platforms to jump on and toys to play with!

Noodle is our Tongues Out Tuesday celebrity today!! 😝

Noodle was in for a little procedure and was lording it up in the cat ward which we have tucked away in the quietest area of the practice meaning our feline friends can be as relaxed as possible for their stay!

This little cutie is Clover!

Clover has been coming in for regular visits with nurse Helen to be weighed and build some confidence as she was very nervous on her first visit.

We are pleased to report that she was much happier, more confident and loved the treats!! (Can you tell she had cheese today 🤭)

Lovely Arthur came in today for a little check up with vet Aidan 💜

He was a very good boy whilst having his check up which included a little scan of his heart (the cheese helped keep him distracted!) 🧀
